Wicked, Elphaba

Zielona lalka marzyła mi się od dawna. Niestety te, które pojawiały się w ramach filmowych serii z "Czarnoksiężnika z Krainy Oz" albo nie mają artykulacji, albo kosztują majątek. W związku ze zbliżającą się premierą nowego filmu "Wicked" zostało wydane kilka lalek, w tym Elphaba. Nie dość, że za w miarę normalne pieniądze, to jeszcze nie jest sztywniakiem. Jasne więc było, że musiałam ją kupić.

I've been dreaming of a green doll for a long time. Unfortunately, the ones that appeared in the "Wizard of Oz" movie series either don't have articulation or cost a fortune. Because of the upcoming premiere of the new movie "Wicked", several dolls were released, including Elphaba. Not only is she available for a fairly normal price, but she's also not a stiff. So it was obvious that I had to buy her.

Cyknęłam jej na szybko zdjęcia w oryginalnym stroju. Dodałam od siebie miotłę, a różdżkę pożyczyłam od potterowskich lalek.

I quickly took some photos of her in her original outfit. I added my own broom and borrowed the wand from Harry Potter dolls.

Kapelusz jest wyjątkowo toporny, ale nie odbiera jej uroku.

The hat is extremely clunky, but it doesn't take her charm away.

Oczywiście przebrałam ją w inną suknię, znaną Wam już kreację z bufiastymi rękawami. Dostała też kapelusz i srebrne dodatki. I ponieważ dziś z rana wyszło słońce, zmusiłam się do wygrzebania się wcześnie z łóżka i poszłam robić zdjęcia pośród diamentów rosy.

Of course I dressed her in a different dress, the one you already know, with the puffy sleeves. She also got a hat and silver accessories. And since the sun came out this morning, I forced myself to get out of bed early and went to take pictures among the dew diamonds.

Jest prześliczna. Ogromnie podobają mi się jej oryginalne rysy twarzy i zawadiacki uśmiech. I oczywiście to, że jest ZIELONA!

She's gorgeous. I love her original facial features and mischievous smile. And of course, the fact that she's GREEN!

Bardzo podobają mi się także jej dłonie - o wiele ładniej zrobione niż standardowe łapki u mtm. Pomalowałam jej paznokcie, aby jeszcze podkreślić palce.

I also really like her hands - much nicer than the standard mtm paws. I painted her nails to highlight her fingers even more.

Film będzie miał premierę końcem listopada, a u nas pojawi się w kinach początkiem grudnia. Jestem ciekawa tej historii, pewnie wybiorę się go obejrzeć. Z tego co widziałam w zapowiedziach - lalka jest całkiem podobna do aktorki, Cynthii Erivo.

The film will premiere at the end of November, and will be in cinemas in Poland at the beginning of December. I'm curious about this story, I will probably go and watch it. From what I saw in the trailers - the doll looks quite similar to the actress, Cynthia Erivo.
