Barbie Extra nr 1 i nie tylko | Barbie Extra #1 and more

Po szydełkowych topach w rozmiarze plus przyszedł czas na garderobę dla panien w standardowym rozmiarze. Dokupiłam kordonków, m.in. w kolorze różu, którego mi brakowało i wzięłam się za machanie szydełkiem. 

After the plus size crochet tops, it's time for a standard size dolls wardrobe. I bought crochet threads, incl. in the color of pink that I missed and I started to crochet.

Do moich lalek z serii Extra dołączyła niedawno ta panienka. Przyjechała do mnie od Marzenki z bloga Dłubaniny Lalkowe. :)

Wiecie, ja wcale nie zbieram tej serii. One tak jakoś same się trafiają i tym sposobem mam już cztery panny spod szyldu "Extra" (o numerach 1, 2, 3 i 10). Niewyjaśniona zagadka kolekcjonerska...

This lady has recently joined my Extra series dolls. She came to me from Marzenka from Dłubaniny Lalkowe blog. :)

You know, I don't collect this series at all, right? They somehow pops out and in this way I already have four girls from the "Extra" sign (#1, #2, #3 and #10). Unexplained collector's mystery...

Nowa w stadzie to Barbie Extra #1. Z tego, co udało mi się wyszukać w sieci, ma ona mold o nazwie "2013" lub "Curvy/Karl". Niech więc będzie Karl. W oryginale włosy ma ułożone w dwie kitki afro i dwa warkoczyki po bokach twarzy. Nieco zmodyfikowałam tą fryzurę, co widać na załączonych zdjęciach. Panna ma charakterystyczny makijaż ze złotymi kreskami wokół oczu. Na szczęście na żywo usta nie są tak jaskrawe jak na zdjęciach promocyjnych.

Wybrałam dla niej biały top i szyfonową spódnicę w beżach i brązach.

New in the crew is Barbie Extra #1. From what I found on the web, it has a head mold called "2013" or "Curvy/Karl". So let it be Karl. In the original, her hair is arranged in two afro puffs and two braids on the sides of her face. I slightly modified this hairstyle, as you can see in the attached photos. Girl has a distinctive make-up with golden lines around her eyes. Fortunately, the lips are not as bright in live as in the promotional photos.

I chose a white top for her and a chiffon skirt in beige and brown.

Alec (Barbie Extra #10) była idealną kandydatką do zaprezentowania różowej wersji topu. Jak widać jest to bardzo uniwersalny element garderoby - pasuje do spódnic, spodni i szortów.

Alec (Barbie Extra #10) was the perfect candidate to present the pink version of the top. As you can see, it is a very universal item of clothing - it goes well with skirts, trousers and shorts.

Millie (Barbie Extra #3) ubrałam w granatowy top i jasne jeansy.

Millie (Barbie Extra # 3) is dressed in a navy blue top and light jeans.

Goddess (Barbie Fashionistas #17 na cialku made to move) dostała bladozielony top i spódnicę w kolorze fuksji, która podkreśla jej bordowe włosy.

Goddess (Barbie Fashionistas #17 made to move body) got a pale green top and a fuchsia skirt to accentuate her burgundy hair.

Zrobiłam też małe porównanie dwóch rudzielców (ach, mam słabość do lalek o tym kolorze włosów...) na dwóch typach ciałek - standardowym (choć Mera ma bardziej atletyczną sylwetkę, to rozmiar jest taki sam jak zwykłego mtm) i curvy. W rolach modelek Mera (Mattel Justice League) i Claire (Mattel Jurassic World). Sama nie wiem, czy lepiej im w białych topach, czy jasnozielonych...

I also did a little comparison of two gingers (ah, I have a weakness for dolls with this hair color...) on two body types - standard (although Mera is more athletic, the size is the same as a regular mtm) and curvy. The models are Mera (Mattel Justice League) and Claire (Mattel Jurassic World). I don't know if they look better in white or light green tops...

Nie wiem jak u Was, ale u mnie upały dają niesamowicie w kość. Od ponad dwóch tygodni nie padało (a może już dłużej?), temperatury windują się coraz wyżej. Dziś jest 34 stopnie, jutro ma być nawet 36... Choć odczuwalna temperatura jest o wiele wyższa. Zdjęcia robię z samego rana, a słońce i tak jest ostre, palące. Zapowiadane deszcze nie nadchodzą, w dodatku prognoza na najbliższe parę dni pokazuje tylko i wyłącznie nieustające słońce. Ogród mocno ucierpiał, trawa wyschła już zupełnie. Kwiaty przekwitają momentalnie, brak wody im bardzo szkodzi.

No, pomarudziłam (ale to dlatego, że nie cierpię takiej pogody - już wolę zimę).

I don't know about you, but in the place I live the heat is incredibly hard. It hasn't rained for over two weeks (or maybe even longer?) and the temperatures are rising higher and higher. Today it is 34 degrees (93 F), tomorrow it will be even 36 (97 F)... Although the perceived temperature is much higher. I take photos in the morning and the sun is already sharp and burning. The predicted rains are not coming, in addition, the forecast for the next few days shows only the constant sun. The garden is badly damaged, the grass is completely dry. The flowers fade instantly, the lack of water is very bad for them.

Well, I grumbled (but that's because I hate such weather - in this case I prefer winter).

Thank you very much for coming by and leaving all good words. I wish you all the best for Christmas. I wish you peace for the holiday season, good health for you and your families, happiness and prosperity.

Jak tam Wasze przygotowania? U mnie spokojnie, na szczęście nie dopada nas świąteczne szaleństwo. ;)

Przygotowania także u lalek. Zapraszam Was na relację z ubierania choinki w skali 1:6. Zdjęć bez liku, ale mam nadzieję, że będą się Wam podobać. 

Wykorzystałam tą samą dioramę, co w zeszłym roku przy Projekcie Wigilijnym z kolędnikami rodem z Dickensa. W tym roku jednak przygotowałam się ciut lepiej, dekoracji jest więcej, a w dodatku spadł "śnieg". ;)

W ramach podkładu muzycznego zaproponuję kilka utworów. Pierwszym z nich będzie moja ulubiona "Carol of the Bells". I ona pojawiła się w zeszłym roku w wykonaniu Andy'ego Williamsa. Dziś ten sam utwór, jednak w innych aranżacjach. Pierwsze wykonanie instrumentalne, drugie na przepiękne głosy. 

How are your arrangements going? There is very calm at my place, luckily there is no Christmas madness here. ;)

There are also some arrangements at dolls' place to. I invite you to watch the story about how 1/6 scale Christmas tree was decorated. There are countless photos but I hope you will enjoy.

I used the same diorama I had last year in my Christmas Eve Project with my Dickensian carolers. But this year I was prepared better, there is more props, and the "snow" has fallen too. ;)

As a background I propose you few songs. The first one is my favourite "Carol of the Bells". It appeared last year in Andy Williams' performance. Today same song but in other arrangments. First one is instrumental, second one with beautiful voices.

Panna w zielonej tunice to Cali Girl Barbie z serii lalek jeżdżących konno. Przyjechała niestety z obciętymi włosami, ale jej buźka jest naprawdę śliczna. 

Jak widać odnalazła się także w świątecznych klimatach. ;)

Kolejny utwór to piosenka, którą pewnie kojarzycie z filmu "Kevin sam w domu". 

Girl in green tunic is Cali Girl Barbie from the horseback riding series. She came to me with her hair cut, unfortunately. But her face is really sweet.

And she's doing great also in holiday scenery. ;)

Zaczęło się robić nieco tłoczno jak widzicie. I tu zaczęła się też prawdziwa zabawa. Bo co ułożyłam połowę lalek, to druga połowa wywracała się i przewracała część rekwizytów... To chyba była najdłuższa lalkowa sesja, jaką do tej pory zrobiłam.

Część ubranek już widzieliście, ale kilka z nich uszyłam specjalnie na tą okazję. Udało mi się nawet zrobić dwie pary butów - jedne nosi grubcia mtm, drugie basenowa panna The Look. 

Podkładu muzycznego ciąg dalszy. Tym razem coś z bardziej współczesnych utworów.

It started to get crowded as you can see. And the real fun began. When I posed half of the dolls the other half fell and knocked over part of props...I think that was the photo session that took me the longest time ever.

Part of the outfits you have already seen but part of them I sewed especially for this occasion. I even managed to make two pairs of boots - mtm curvy is wearing one of them and The Barbie Look Pool Chick the other.

Background music continued. Something more present-day now.

Zrobiłam nauszniki dla Skipper (którą pożyczyłam od Córy). Jakoś tak mnie naszło. :)

I made earmuffs for Skipper (which I borrowed from my Daughter). I just felt it will be nice. :)

Choinka już prawie ubrana. Jak Wam się podoba? Jest bardzo podobna do tej, która stoi u mnie w domu - jest na niej wszystko. ;)

Christmas tree is almost ready. How do you like it? It's very similar to the tree that stands in my house - there is everything on it. ;)

I ostatnia piosenka, którą chciałam Wam podrzucić. Znana wszystkim "We wish you a Merry Christmas" - ale w nieco innym wykonaniu.

And the last song I wanted to toss you. "We wish you a Merry Christmas" that everybody knows - but in a little bit different arrangment.
