Dzisiejszy temat w zabawie #monday4dolls, której organizatorką jest Iza z @bella_belladoll jest "Zdjęcie grupowe". Początkowo miałam skorzystać z jakichś zdjęć archiwalnych, ale ostatecznie zmobilizowałam się do ustawienia tej części ekipy z wiedźmowego uniwersum, która ma już gotowe stroje. Ten pomysł od dawna chodził mi po głowie, ale jakoś nie było motywacji do zrealizowania go.

W centrum ekipy stoi oczywiście Margaret (Mattel, Bellatrix Lestrange), od której zaczęła się cała wiedźmowa historia. Choć do mojej kolekcji przybyło sporo nowych lalek, w tym kilka z listy marzeń, to jednak ona pozostaje moim numerem jeden.

Today's theme for the #monday4dolls, hosted by Iza from @bella_belladoll, is "Group photo". Initially, I was going to use some archive photos, but eventually I got motivated to set up the part of the witch universe team that already has ready-made costumes. This idea has been on my mind for a long time, but somehow I didn't have the motivation to do it.

At the center of the team is, of course, Margaret (Mattel, Bellatrix Lestrange), with whom the entire witch story began. Even though I've added a lot of new dolls to my collection, including a few from my wish list, she remains my number one.

Na zdjęcie załapał się Syriusz, którego jeszcze nie pokazywałam, choć jest u mnie już niemal od roku... Zrobiłam mu reroot i już prawie skończyłam jego strój. Mam nadzieję, że niebawem pojawi się w swoim własnym poście.

And here my invaluable helpers - Son and Husband - got caught, they were holding the broomstick on which the fairies were hanging. xD

Tak na zakończenie powiem Wam tylko, że to zaledwie połowa postaci z wiedźmiego uniwersum... Tak, mamy z Córą plan na co najmniej drugie tyle wiedźm i innych fantastycznych stworzeń. Myślę, że kiedyś fajnie będzie porównać, jak rozrastała się ekipa na zdjęciach grupowych. :)

In closing, I'll just tell you that this is only half of the characters from the witch universe... Yes, my Daughter and I have a plan for at least twice as many witches and other fantastic creatures. I think it will be great to compare how the team grew in group photos someday. :)

Brakujące siostry | Missing sisters

Trochę ponad rok temu trafiły do mnie Ariel i jej trzy siostry. Czułam jednak niedosyt - w końcu każda z siedmiu lalek z zestawu jest naprawdę piękna. Kiedy więc okazało się, że owy 7-pak pojawił się w promocyjnej cenie (niemal o połowę taniej, niż początkowo), razem z Młodą postanowiłyśmy kupić go na spółkę. :)

A little over a year ago, Ariel and her three sisters came to me. However, I felt unsatisfied - after all, each of the seven dolls in the set is really beautiful. So when it turned out that the 7-pack appeared at a promotional price (almost half the price of the original), together with my Daughter, we decided to buy it together. :)

Akurat uszyłam trzy nowe wersje kolorystyczne ulubionego stroju Margaret. Jasnym więc było, że zaprezentują je Caspia, Indira i Tamika, które dołączyły do Kameliowej ekipy. Oczywiście od razu pozbawiłyśmy je ogonów, dostały nogi. Dla Caspii idealnym dopasowaniem jest tenisistka (HKT73). Tamika dostała ciało od Kim w kwiecistych legginsach (FTG83) i jest niemal w sam raz. Dla Indiry również znalazłam ciałko o niemal identycznym odcieniu - od mtm yellow top (DHL83).

I just sewed three new color versions of Margaret's favorite outfit. So it was obvious that Caspia, Indira, and Tamika, who joined the Kamelia team, would present them. Of course, we immediately removed their tails and gave them legs. For Caspia, the perfect match is a tennis player (HKT73). Tamika got a body from Kim in floral leggings (FTG83) and it's almost perfect. For Indira, I also found a body in an almost identical shade - from yellow top mtm (DHL83).

Caspia, należąca do mojej Córy, zaskoczyła mnie niezwykle pozytywnie. Przyznam, że do tej pory jakoś nie przyciągnęła mojej uwagi. Na żywo jest jednak przecudna. Ma tak piękny, subtelny makijaż i delikatną urodę. Na całe szczęście mogę ją wypożyczać do sesji. :)

Caspia, belonging to my Daughter, surprised me very positively. I admit that until now she had not caught my attention. However, she is gorgeous in real life. She has such beautiful, subtle make-up and delicate beauty. Luckily, I can borrow her for a session. :)

Dla niej wybrałam granatowy strój. Podkreśla jej błękitne oczy i kontrastuje z jasną karnacją i bladoróżowymi włosami.

For her, I chose a navy outfit. It brings out her sky blue eyes and contrasts with her fair complexion and pale pink hair.

Tamika jest po prostu niesamowita. To właśnie dla niej i Indiry zdecydowałam się na to lalkowe szaleństwo. ;) Ubrałam ją w turkusową wersję stroju, a zapozowała na tle wrzosów, które zakwitną lada dzień. Czyżby zbliżała się moja upragniona jesień?

Muszę wymyślić dla niej nowe imię, bo to mi nie pasuje...

Tamika is simply amazing. It was for her and Indira that I decided to do this doll madness. ;) I dressed her in a teal version of the outfit, and she posed against the background of heather, which will bloom any day now. Could it be that my desired autumn is approaching?

I need to come up with a new name for her because this one doesn't suit me...

I Indira, która również potrzebuje nowego imienia. Dostała pomarańczową kreację ze złotymi dodatkami. 

And Indira, who also needs a new name. She got an orange outfit with gold accessories.

Teoretycznie nie jest to post dotyczący postępów w Domu Zielarki jako takim. Ogród jest jednak dopełnieniem całego projektu i postanowiłam napisać także o nim. Poza tym fajnie będzie porównać jego wygląd za rok, czy dwa. :)

Początkowo myślałam, że Dom Zielarki będę ustawiała w istniejącej już części lalkowego ogrodu. Tak zrobiłam np. podczas sesji z Doll Tour Poland 2023. I w sumie wyszło. :) 

W maju zaczęliśmy jednak robić porządki w ogrodzie. Jeszcze w lutym obfite opady śniegu (w ciągu nocy spadło wtedy ok. 40 cm śniegu) połamały kilka krzewów. Po wycięciu jednego z nich (zapomniałam zrobić zdjęcie przed, ale chodzi o miejsce koło rododendrona, tam gdzie jest taki łysy kawałek żywopłotu), musieliśmy usunąć też dwie sąsiadujące niższe rośliny. Została dziura. Myślałam o tym, aby po prostu zrobić tam kawałek trawnika. I to moja Córa wpadła na pomysł, aby zrobić tam wiedźmi ogród.

Theoretically, this is not a post about the progress of the Herbalist's Cottage itself. However, the garden is a complement to the whole project and I decided to write about it as well. Plus, it'll be fun to compare how it looks in a year or two. :)

Initially, I thought that I would place the Herbalist's Cottage in the already existing part of the doll garden. That's what I did, for example, during the Doll Tour Poland 2023 session. And it all worked out. :)

In May, however, we started cleaning the garden. In February, heavy snowfall (approx. 40 cm - almost 16 inches - of snow fell during the night) broke several bushes. After cutting out one of them (I forgot to take a photo before, but it was near the rhododendron, where there is such a bald patch of hedge), we also had to remove two adjacent lower plants. There's a hole left. I was thinking of just making a piece of lawn there. And it was my Daughter who came up with the idea to make a witch's garden there.

Trzeba było wymyślić coś, co pozwoliłoby bezpiecznie ustawiać dom, aby nie łapał wilgoci. Planuję go zabezpieczyć przed wodą, ale jednak podstawą konstrukcji jest karton, więc lepiej nie ryzykować. A nie chciałabym tracić możliwości zrobienia sesji z tak błahego powodu, jak mokra trawa.

Postanowiłam więc zrobić coś w rodzaju podmurówki/tarasu z kamienia. Mąż pomógł, bo te kawałki były naprawdę ciężkie. Poza tym wiecie - ja bym to poukładała na oko, a on wziął poziomicę. xD

It was necessary to come up with something that would allow you to safely position the house so that it does not catch moisture. I plan to protect it against water, but the basis of the construction is cardboard, so it's better not to risk it. And I wouldn't want to lose the opportunity to do a session for such a trivial reason as wet grass.

So I decided to do something like a foundation/terrace made of stone. My husband helped because the pieces were really heavy. Besides, you know - I would make it using my eye, and he took a spirit level. xD

Później ułożyłam ścieżkę do domu i wstępnie ustaliłam miejsce wkopania drzew w ogrodzie.

Later, I laid the path to the house and pre-determined the place of planting the trees in the garden.

W wiedźmim ogrodzie posadziłam trzy graby, ozdobną wiśnię Kojo-nu-mai, hibiskusa, dąbki (które moja Córa wyhodowała z żołędzi), chyba jakiegoś cyprysika, dąbrówkę, miniaturowe funkie, fortegilę, barbulę, dwa berberysy i suchodrzew. Niektóre z nich miałam od dawna w doniczkach, miały być bonsai, ale jakoś nie wyszło. ;) Część to samosiejki, które wykopałam z innych części ogrodu. I wszystko jakoś się zgrało.

In the witch's garden I planted three hornbeams, an decorative cherry Kojo-nu-mai, a hibiscus, oaks (which my Daughter grew from acorns), a cypress, a bugle, a miniature funky, a fortegila, a bluebeard, two barberries and a honeysuckle. I had some of them in pots for a long time, they were supposed to be bonsai, but somehow it didn't work out. ;) Some of them are self-sown plants that I dug up from other parts of the garden. And everything just kind of fell into place.

Na razie nie będę dosadzać niczego dużego, zobaczymy na wiosnę, czy będzie taka potrzeba.

For now, I will not add anything big, we'll see in the spring if it will be necessary.

Następnie na początku sierpnia wysiałam trawę. I byłam mega zaskoczona, bo już po tygodniu się zazieleniło. 

Then, in early August, I sowed the grass. And I was super surprised, because after a week it turned green.

Z trawą wygląda nieźle, prawda? Cieszę się, bo będę mogła również ustawiać tam altanę, albo w ogóle traktować to jako taras w ogrodzie do różnych zdjęć. Nawiasem mówiąc w tym roku nie korzystałam z altany... Aż żal.

Trochę martwię się o graby, bo dwa z trzech zżółkły już i zrzuciły niemal wszystkie liście. Trochę za wcześnie. No ale cóż. Wiosną okaże się, czy zdążyły się ukorzenić.

Looks good with grass, doesn't it? I'm happy because I will also be able to set up a gazebo there, or even treat it as a terrace in the garden for various photos. By the way, I didn't use the gazebo this year... It's a pity.

I'm a little worried about the hornbeams, because two out of three have already turned yellow and dropped almost all their leaves. A little early. But well. We'll see in the spring if they've taken root.

A co do trawy, to rośnie jak szalona. Co ją skoszę, to trzy dni później jest tak, jak na tym zdjęciu  z Adelą (Hasbro, Beauty and the Beast, Bella).

About the grass - it grows like crazy. I mow it and three days later it's like in this photo with Adela (Hasbro, Beauty and the Beast, Bella).

Na szybko kilka ujęć ze środka. Od razu lepiej, gdy za oknem widać zieleń.

Wspomnę jeszcze, że schody mi się w międzyczasie rozpadły. Ech... No ale już je poprawiłam, skleiłam, wzmocniłam balustradę sznurkiem (prawie nie widać, bo użyłam sznurka bawełnianego i pomalowałam go tą samą bejcą, co drewno). Na razie w ogóle wyjęłam je z domu, zamontuję już po zrobieniu ścian i podłogi na parterze.

I will also mention that my stairs fell apart in the meantime. Eh... Well, I've already corrected them, glued them together, reinforced the balustrade with a string (almost not visible, because I used a cotton string and painted it with the same stain as the wood). For now, I took them out of the house at all, I will install them after making the walls and floor on the ground floor.

W ostatni weekend, właśnie pod tym potrójnym oknem, dosadziłam wrzosy. Wzięły udział w ostatniej sesji z Tamiką (Barbie Looks #7).

Last weekend, under this triple window, I planted heather. They took part in the last session with Tamika (Barbie Looks #7).

Posadziłam tam trzy kępki, dość ściśle, żeby było gęsto. 

I planted three clumps there, quite closely to make it dense.

Dziś rano doszłam jednak do wniosku, że to za mało. Kocham wrzosy, w dodatku pasują do wiedźm idealnie... No nie było wyjścia. Dosadziłam jeszcze kilka. xD

This morning, however, I came to the conclusion that it was not enough. I love heather, and it fits witches perfectly... Well, there was no choice. I planted a few more. xD

I tym sposobem moje małe wiedźmy mają ogród. Margaret (Mattel, Bellatrix Lestrange) wygląda na zadowoloną. ;)

Barbie Looks #7 Tamika

W tym roku nie dam chyba rady pojechać na wrzosowiska, żeby cyknąć jakąś wiedźmią sesję. Po prostu nie ma kiedy. Zresztą pewnie te dzikie wrzosy już przekwitły... Trochę mi szkoda, bo uwielbiam zdjęcia wśród wrzosów. Moje dwie ulubione sesje to Azonki w nadbałtyckim lesie (sprzed dwóch lat) i ubiegłoroczna płomiennowłosa Jaga.

Skoro ja nie mogę jechać do wrzosów, to na pocieszenie przywiozłam wrzosy do siebie. ;) I zasadziłam je w lalkowym ogrodzie.

This year I don't think I'll be able to go to the moors for a witchy session. There's just no time. Besides, these wild heathers have probably already faded... It's a pity because I love photos among the heather. My two favorite sessions are Azone girls in the Baltic Sea forest (two years ago) and last year's flame-haired Yaga.

Since I can't go to the heather, I brought the heather to my place to console myself. ;) And I planted them in the doll garden.

Suknię już znacie. W dodatku znów pokazuję ją w różach, choć dopiero co paradowała w takiej samej kreacji Adela (Hasbro, Beauty and the Beast, Bella). Tym razem jednak uszyłam ją w wersji petite. I modelka nowa, jeszcze jej tu nie było, więc może Wam się spodoba. No i są wrzosy. :)

A modelką jest Tamika, Barbie Looks numer 7. Lalkę wypożyczyłam do sesji od mojej Córy. Ależ wspaniale jest mieć wspólniczkę w tym szaleństwie, to znaczy chciałam powiedzieć w kolekcjonowaniu. ;) Młoda dostała tą uroczą pannę w czerwcu, na Dzień Dziecka, ale jako nie było do tej pory okazji, aby ją pokazać.

You already know the dress. And I'm showing it in pink again, even though Adele (Hasbro, Beauty and the Beast, Bella) was just wearing the same outfit a month ago. This time, however, I sewed it in the petite version. But I chose a new model, she hasn't been here yet, so maybe you'll like it. And there are heather. :)

The model is Tamika, Barbie Looks number 7. I borrowed the doll for the session from my Daughter. It's great to have a partner in this madness, I meant collecting. ;) My Daughter received this lovely lady in June, on Children's Day, but there has been no opportunity to show her yet.

Ma zachwycający kolor włosów. Początkowo nie byłam pewna, czy będzie jej do twarzy w tej sukni, ale okazało się, że całość wypadła naprawdę nieźle. Tamika sama wygląda jak wrzos.

She has a stunning hair color. At first I wasn't sure if this dress would suit her, but it turned out to be really good. Tamika herself looks like heather.

Tym razem sesję robiłam tuż po strzyżeniu trawy w lalkowym ogrodzie i mimo, że jesień żółci już powoli wszystkie rośliny, to całość wygląda naprawdę nieźle. Lada dzień pokażę Wam historię powstawania tej części ogrodu.

This time I did the session right after cutting the grass in the doll's garden, and even though autumn is slowly turning yellow all the plants, the whole thing looks really good. Any day now I will show you the history of how this part of the garden was created.

Do tych różów i fioletów dobrałam jej szary kapelusz z filcu, przystrojony miniaturowymi różami z papieru. Jak Wam się podoba to połączenie?

For these pinks and purples, I chose a gray felt hat decorated with miniature paper roses. How do you like this combination?

Mam nadzieję, że moja domowa wersja wrzosowiska Wam się spodobała. :)
