Valhalla

Las jest piękny. Jeszcze nie widać jesieni, jeszcze jest zielony... Ale poranek był rześki, w powietrzu czuć, że zmiana jest bliska.

The forest is beautiful. You can't see autumn yet, it's still green... But the morning was fresh, you can feel in the air that change is near.

Udało mi się nareszcie skończyć komplet dużej i małej chusty ze wzoru "Valhalla" od Yaga Yaga Handmade (Facebook, Instagram, Ravelry, Etsy). Wzór jest fantastyczny - nie dość, że prezentuje się doskonale, pozwala na piękne przejścia kolorów, to jeszcze jest tak przyjemny w trakcie roboty, jak mało który. Pierwszy raz nie prułam ani jednego rzędu - nadzór nad poprawnością wzoru jest bardzo prosty. Powiem szczerze, że wręcz ciężko się pomylić. Z pewnością wrócę do niego jeszcze nie raz.

I finally managed to finish a set of a large and a small shawls using the "Valhalla" pattern from Yaga Yaga Handmade (Facebook, Instagram, Ravelry, Etsy). The pattern is fantastic - not only does it look great, allows for beautiful color transitions, but it is also as enjoyable to work with as few others. For the first time, I didn't unravel a single row - supervising the correctness of the pattern is very simple. I'll be honest, it's hard to make a mistake. I will definitely come back to it more than once.

Tym razem postanowiłam sama wystąpić w nieco bardziej wiedźmiej odsłonie. W końcu kolor włosów zobowiązuje, nieprawdaż? ;) Razem z moją Mini (Barbie BMR1959 po reroocie) wystąpiłyśmy więc w czarnych kreacjach.

This time I decided to appear in a slightly more witchy version myself. After all, hair color obliges, doesn't it? ;) Together with my Mini (Barbie BMR1959 after reroot) we appeared in black outfits.

Wersja lalkowa w skali 1/6 zrobiona jest z muliny, szydełkiem 1.0 mm. Dużą chustę zrobiłam z motka Amorek OMB139 z Wolleamore. W sklepie figuruje pod nazwą "Burzowe chmury" i od razu stwierdziłam, że będzie idealny do zrobienia chusty o nazwie "Valhalla". To bawełna z akrylem (50% bawełny, 50% akrylu), na 3 nitki. Szydełko 3.0 mm. Zużyłam motek 1500 m, a do tego ok. 100 m ostatniego koloru.

The doll version in 1/6 scale is made of embroidery thread, crochet 1.0 mm. I made a large shawl from an Amorek OMB139 skein from Wolleamore. In the store it is listed under the name "Storm Clouds" and I immediately decided that it would be perfect for making a scarf called "Valhalla". It's cotton with acrylic (50% cotton, 50% acrylic), 3 threads. 3.0mm crochet hook. I used a skein of 1500 m and about 100 m of the last color.

Zdecydowanie muszę kiedyś zrobić taką chustę dla siebie - z tego wzoru, w tych kolorach. Ogromnie mi się spodobała ta kombinacja.

I definitely need to make a shawl like that for myself someday - from this pattern, in these colors. I really liked this combination.

Próbowałam cyknąć zdjęcia z moim Wilczkiem, ale udało się raptem to jedno, bo średnio jej pasowało pozowanie w bezruchu. ;)

I tried to take pictures with my Wolfie, but I only managed to take one, because she wasn't very good at posing motionless. ;)
