Dwie "Bayki" | Two 'Baykas'

Sezon na chusty trwa. Kolejna spadła z szydełka. Znów "Bayka", ale w innych kolorach.

The season for shawls is on. Another one fell off the crochet hook. Again 'Bayka', but in different colors.

Zielono-miedzianą wersję znacie już z postu o 16-calowej wiedźmie Jadze. Rzadko zostawiam u siebie zrobione przeze mnie rzeczy, tym razem jednak nie wyobrażałam sobie Jagi w innym stroju. Stoi więc na półce ubrana w wiedźmią sukienkę i chustę. Pożyczyłam ją więc na dzisiejszą sesję i choć jest odrobinę za duża dla Barbiowatych, to ujdzie.

A dwa rudzielce (obecnie moje ulubione bliźniacze lalki, jak się pewnie domyślacie) i dwie takie chusty pasują w sam raz na dzisiejszy #twinningiswinningwithgrandma.

You already know the green-copper version from the post about the 16-inch witch Yaga. I rarely leave  things that I make at home, but this time I couldn't imagine Yaga in a different outfit. So she is standing on the shelf wearing a witch's dress and a shawl. So I borrowed it for today's session and although it is a bit too big for the Barbie, let it be.

And two redheads (currently my favorite twin dolls, as you can probably guess) and two such shawls are perfect for today's #twinningiswinningwithgrandma.

Druga wersja jest już odpowiedniej dla 12-calowych lalek wielkości. Wybrałam połączenie niebieskiego i brązu, które ogromnie mi się podoba. Jeśli ktoś szuka wzoru "Bayka", to przypominam, że autorką jest Joanna Sitkiewicz z Yaga Yaga Handmade (Facebook, Instagram).

Chustę zrobiłam z muliny, szydełko 1 mm - a więc standardowo. Kolory chusty pięknie komponują się z jesienną barwą liści.

Jest pięknie. Co prawda słońce wychodzi zwykle tylko na chwilę, ale dobre i to. Taką jesień kocham. W dodatku na kuchni pichcą się właśnie jabłka na szarlotkę oraz zupa dyniowa (moja ulubiona!). Skaczę więc między komputerem, a garnkami, żeby nic się nie przypaliło. ;) W domu pachnie po prostu bosko.

The second version is already just right  for 12 inch size dolls. I chose a combination of blue and brown, which I really like. If someone is looking for the 'Bayka' pattern, I would like to remind you that the author is Joanna Sitkiewicz from Yaga Yaga Handmade (Facebook, Instagram).

I made the shawl using embroidery threads, 1 mm crochet hook - so  standard. The colors of the shawl look beautifully with the autumn colors of the leaves.

It's beautifully. It's true that the sun comes out only for a moment, but it's good too. I love autumn like this. In addition, I'm cooking apples for apple pie and pumpkin soup (my favorite!). So I jump between the computer and the pots so that nothing burns. ;) It smells divine at home.

Wracajmy do lalek. Barbie Looks #11 wygląda świetnie i w zieleniach, i w wersji niebiesko-brązowej.  

Let's go back to the dolls. Barbie Looks #11 looks great in both green and blue-brown versions.

Tym razem zrobiłam też sesję w chuście w warunkach domowych. Piękna witryna to dzieło Butterfly Family Miniatures (Facebook, Instagram). Obraz "Dziewczyna z perłą" namalowała Iga z bloga Aya w Świecie Lalek (ale również tu: Facebook, Instagram). Kilka książek to również prezent od niej. Pozostałe książki, kołozeszyt i długopis mam z kolei od Asi z Paperinadoll. Kot przyplątał się sam. ;)

This time I also made a photo session with a shawl at home. The beautiful bookcase is the work of Butterfly Family Miniatures (Facebook, Instagram). The painting "Girl with a pearl" was painted by Iga from Aya in Dolls World blog (but also here: Facebook, Instagram). A few books are also a gift from her. The other books, a notebook and a pen, are from Asia from Paperinadoll. The cat found itself. ;)

Dziś jedna chusta, za to użyta w dwóch stylizacjach. Miała być tylko szybka sesja między kroplami deszczu do sweterka i spodni, ale potem przymierzyłam ją jeszcze do sukienki, w której akurat była Margaret (Mattel Bellatrix Lestrange) i stwierdziłam, że to piękne połączenie. 

Today one shawl, but used in two styles. It was supposed to be just a quick session between raindrops with a sweater and pants, but then I tried it on a dress that happened to be worn by Margaret (Mattel Bellatrix Lestrange) and found it a beautiful combination.

Wzór to "Water Lily" autorstwa Katarzyny Kalety z Pikotkowych Wzorów. Zapisałam się na CAL i oczywiście ludzkiej wersji jeszcze nie zrobiłam, ale powstała mała, w skali 1/6. Dużą też wydziergam, choć w bliżej nieokreślonym "kiedyś". ;)

"Water Lily" jest przepiękna. Do lalkowej chusty wykorzystałam jedynie początek wzoru, do uzyskania odpowiedniej dla lalki wielkości. Ale w tym fragmencie już zawiera się kilka elementów, które nadają całości romantycznego wyglądu.

The pattern is 'Water Lily' by Katarzyna Kaleta from Pikotkowe Wzory (Picot Patterns) I signed up for CAL and, of course, I haven't made the human version yet, but a small one, in 1/6 scale, was created. I will also crochet a large one, although in an undefined "sometime". ;)

'Water Lily' is beautiful. For the doll shawl, I used only the beginning of the pattern to obtain the size appropriate for the doll. But there are already a few elements in this part that give the whole a romantic look.

Drugą modelką jest Luiza (DOTW Philippines). Chusta jak widać pasuje również do codziennego ubrania.

The other model is Luiza (DOTW Philippines). As you can see, the shawl also fits everyday clothes.

Tu jeszcze rzut oka na całą chustę w wersji lalkowej. Jestem zachwycona tymi ażurami. Choć muszę powiedzieć, że wzór jest dosyć trudny, nie powtarza się, każdy rząd jest inny. I wymaga uważnego liczenia, bo prucie jest później bardzo bolesne... ;)

Here is a look at the whole doll version of the shawl. I'm delighted with these openwork. Although I must say that the pattern is quite difficult, it does not repeat, each row is different. And it requires careful counting, because ripping is very painful...;)

Choć nie załapałam się tym razem na słońce, kolory w tle nadrabiają ten brak.

Although I didn't catch the sun this time, the colors in the background make up for it.

Łosoś i szmaragd | Salmon and emerald

Tytułowe połączenie wydaje się być zaskakujące, prawda? I takie jest. Szukając kolejnego zestawienia kolorystycznego na chustę przeglądałam różne gotowe propozycje motków i nagle natknęłam się na właśnie takie kolory. Łososiowy, brzoskwiniowy, kremowy, patyna i szmaragd. Z tym, że patyna jest w chuście dla "ludzia" (później jeszcze wspomnę o tym motku), w wersji lalkowej dobrałam bardziej błękitny odcień.

Jestem ciekawa jak Wam spodoba się takie mniej oczywiste połączenie kolorów. :)

The title combination seems surprising, right? And it is. When looking for another color scheme for a shawl, I was looking through various ready-made skeins and suddenly I came across just such colors. Salmon, peach, cream, patina and emerald. Except that the patina is in the shawl for human (I will mention the skein later), in the doll version I chose a bluer shade.

I'm curious how you like such a less obvious combination of colors. :)

Chusty powstały ze wzoru "Przeborka" Augusty Stępień (Zagubione Szydełko). To drugi wzór tej autorki, z którego miałam okazję korzystać. Pierwszym była "Lora", która pojawiła się w poście o leśnej wiedźmie. 

Wersja lalkowa powstała z muliny, użyłam szydełka w rozmiarze 1 mm. "Przeborka" to wzór bardzo przyjemny do przerabiania, w obu rozmiarach praca nad chustami szła całkiem sprawnie. 

I made the shawls using the 'Przeborka' pattern by Augusta Stępień (Zagubione Szydełko - Lost Crochet Hook). This is the second pattern by this author that I have had the opportunity to use. The first one was "Lora", which appeared in the post about the forest witch.

The doll version was made of embroidery threads, I used a 1 mm crochet hook. 'Przeborka' is a very nice pattern to make, in both sizes the work on the shawls went quite smoothly.

Mam kilka zdjęć zrobionych w trakcie roboty. Oczywiście najbardziej "zapracowana" była moja Mini Me. Oraz jej asysta. ;)

I have some photos taken during the work. Of course, the most "busy" was my Mini Me. And her assistance. ;)

Robienie zdjęć w tej chwili jest wyzwaniem. Gdy tylko pojawi się trochę słońca, wybiegam z domu z lalką i aparatem, ale to wcale nie gwarantuje, że słońca wystarczy na całą sesję. Zdjęcia są więc bardzo jesienne - w kratkę. I słońce, i chmury.

Taking photos at the moment is a challenge. As soon as there is some sun, I run out of the house with the doll and camera, but that doesn't guarantee that there will be enough sunshine for the entire session. So the photos are very autumn - checkered. And the sun and the clouds.

Do kolorowej chusty uszyłam dla Mini Me beżowy sweter z dzianiny.

To match the colorful shawl, I sewed a beige sweater for my Mini Me.

A tu dochodzimy do dużej wersji chusty. ;)

Wykorzystałam znów okazję do zrobienia zdjęć na instagramową zabawę #twinningiswinningwithgrandma. Zapodziałam gdzieś tylko zegarek mojej Mini Me...

I used the opportunity again and took photos for the Instagram event #twinningiswinningwithgrandma. I just lost my Mini Me's watch somewhere...

"Przeborka" w skali 1:1 prezentuje się tak. Machając szydełkiem w rozmiarze 3 mm zużyłam na nią motek bawełna 50%/akryl 50% (3 nitki) o długości 1400 m, a do tego jeszcze dołożyłam dwa ostatnie rzędy z motka-dawcy w ostatnim, szmaragdowym kolorze (z pewnością mniej niż 100 m). Motek to Sweet Ombre nr 248-0 z Dziergaczkowa. 

Bardzo podoba mi się połączenie ażurów z bardziej zwartymi fragmentami. Chusta będzie w sam raz na zimę, żeby zawinąć ją wokół szyi, ale także jako okrycie do zarzucenia na ramiona w letni wieczór.

"Przeborka" on a scale of 1/1 looks like this. While waving a 3 mm crochet hook, I used a cotton 50% / acrylic 50% skein (3 strands) with a length of 1400 m for it, and I added the last two rows of a donor skein in the last, emerald color (certainly less than 100 m). Skein is Sweet Ombre No. 248-0 from Dziergaczkowo.

I really like the combination of openwork with more compact fragments. The shawl will be just right for the winter to wrap it around the neck, but also as a garment to be tossed over the shoulders on a summer evening.

Rudowłosa Pani Jesień - Barbie Looks #11 | Red-haired Lady Autumn - Barbie Looks #11

Zauważyłam, że ostatnio na zdjęciach pojawiają się wciąż te same lalki. A wśród nich zdecydowanie najczęściej pozują Margaret (Bellatrix Lestrange) i Morgana (Barbie Looks #11).

Co do rudowłosej, to po prostu jest idealną lalką do sesji jesiennych. To prawdziwa Pani Jesień. Kolorowe liście w tle podkreślają ognistą barwę jej loków.

I noticed that the same dolls appear in the photos lately. Among them, Margaret (Bellatrix Lestrange) and Morgana (Barbie Looks #11) are by far the most common.

About the redhead, she's just the perfect doll for fall sessions. This is the real Lady Autumn. The colorful leaves in the background emphasize the fiery color of her curls.

Jej kolory to oczywiście zieleń, błękit, granatowy, szmaragdowy, petrol i złoty. Ale już przekonałam się, że wygląda pięknie niemal we wszystkim. Na zdjęciach innych kolekcjonerów pozowała już w różach, fioletach, a nawet musztardowym i czerwieni. I naprawdę, wygląda świetnie w każdym z nich.

Her colors are, of course, green, sky blue, navy blue, emerald, petrol and gold. But I've already found out that she looks beautiful in almost everything. In the photos of other collectors, she has already posed in pink, purple, and even mustard and red. And really, she looks great in any of them.

Od wczoraj zrobiło się dosyć chłodno, niebo zasnuło się chmurami, co chwilę pada. Ale udało mi się złapać chwilę bez deszczu i zrobić kilka zdjęć. Już niedługo miniaturowa altana pójdzie w zimową odstawkę, korzystam wiec, póki mogę.

Since yesterday it has become quite chilly, the sky is covered with clouds, it rains every now and then. But I was able to catch a moment without rain and take some photos. Soon the miniature gazebo will be put into winter storage, so I use it while I can.

A kilka dni wcześniej zrobiłam jej zdjęcia w zielonym szydełkowym szalu (wzór "mech" z ażurowymi wstawkami). 

A few days earlier I took pictures of her in a green crochet shawl ("moss" stitch with openwork inserts).

Od zawsze mam słabość do lalkowych rudzielców, ale do niej już jakoś wyjątkowo. :)

I have always had a weakness for redhead dolls, but somehow even more for her. :)
