Sinatra na dwóch kołach | Sinatra on two wheels

To był bardzo ciekawy projekt. Wszystko za sprawą Agnieszki z bloga Kreatywne Wariactwa, która zamówiła u mnie strój motocyklowy, a co więcej użyczyła jeszcze lalkowy motocykl do sesji, gdy strój już będzie gotowy. Trochę trwało, zanim dotarłam do tej pozycji na liście "do zrobienia", ale wreszcie zrealizowałam pomysł Agnieszki. :)

It was a very interesting project. All thanks to Agnieszka from the Creative Madness blog, who ordered a motorcycle outfit from me, and moreover, lent a doll motorcycle for the session when the outfit is ready. It took a while to get to that position on the "to do" list, but finally I realized Agnieszka's idea. :)

Kombinezon motocyklowy w skali 1:6 to coś, czego jeszcze nie szyłam. Słowo klucz to "jeszcze". ;)

Wiecie dobrze, że niecodzienne projekty to coś, co lubię ogromnie. Moje Barbiowate prezentowały już m.in. stroje z Opowieści Wigilijnej, sceny z serialu Dr. Quinn, latały niczym szybujące wiewiórki, ubrały strój Królowej Voodoo z Nowego Orleanu oraz Cesarzowej Ki z koreańskiej dramy. A to w sumie tylko część tych wszystkich przebieranek, które Wam tu pokazywałam. :)

Strój kierowcy pojazdu jednośladowego był więc czymś, czego odpuścić nie mogłam. ;)

A 1:6 scale motorcycle suit is something I haven't sewn yet. The key word is "yet". ;)

You know very well that unusual projects are something I like very much. My Barbies has already presented, among others Christmas Carol costumes, scenes from Dr. Quinn, soaring like flying squirrels, wore outfits of the Voodoo Queen of New Orleans and Empress Ki from the Korean drama. And that's just a part of all the costumes that I showed you here. :)

The outfit of a two-wheeled vehicle driver was something that I could not let go of. ;)

Jeśli chodzi o modelkę do tej sesji - nie miałam wątpliwości, że panna Sinatra będzie idealna. Do tej pory występowała u mnie w eleganckich, haftowanych kreacjach (fioletowa i błękitna sukienka), ale musicie przyznać, że do takiej sesji z pazurem również nadaje się doskonale.

As for the model for this session - I had no doubts that Miss Sinatra would be perfect. So far, she was posing in elegant, embroidered creations (purple and blue dress), but you have to admit that she is also perfect for such a session with a claw.

Strój uszyłam z cienkiej skóry, a czerwone wstawki naszyłam używając taśmy rypsowej. To jednoczęściowy kombinezon, zapinany z przodu na zamek błyskawiczny.

Żeby skóra układała się naturalnie, prawie wszystkie szwy są stębnowane po obu stronach. Musiałam zrezygnować z wzmacniających wstawek na kolanach czy łokciach, bo lalka nie byłaby w stanie zgiąć stawów, ale jest to temat, który zamierzam jeszcze kiedyś podjąć i wymyślić coś, co pozwoli dodać dodatkowe elementy. ;)

The outfit was made of thin leather, and the red inserts were sewn on using grosgrain ribbon. It is a one-piece suit, and it closes at the front with a zipper.

For a natural fit, almost all seams are quilted on both sides. I had to give up the reinforcing inserts on the knees or elbows, because the doll would not be able to bend the joints, but this is a topic that I am going to take up someday and come up with something that will allow me to add these elements. ;)

The bike Agnieszka lent me comes from the Flavas Bike Date Liam & Happy set, released by Mattel in 2003.

Na pozowaniu się skończyło, panna nigdzie nie pojechała, bo nie ma kasku. ;) 

I tak, robiłam zdjęcia w okolicy 6 rano, gdyby ktoś się zastanawiał - dzięki temu światło było rewelacyjne. A miny kierowców jadących do pracy - bezcenne. :)

Panny Tonner w Łańcucie | Tonner ladies in Łańcut

Wyjazd z lalkami do Łańcuta planowałam już od bardzo dawna. I wierzcie mi, nie wiem dlaczego mi tyle zeszło - do tego pięknego zamku mam zaledwie 20 minut drogi samochodem...

I had been planning a trip with the dolls to Łańcut for a long time. And believe me, I do not know why it took me so long - I have only around 20 minuts drive to get there...

Zamek w Łańcucie to prawdziwa perełka. Został wzniesiony w XVI wieku przez Stanisława Lubomirskiego, a w XVIII wieku za sprawą Izabelli z Czartoryskich Lubomirskiej stał się jedną z najwspanialszych rezydencji w Polsce. Na stronie Muzeum jest opisana historia kompleksu pałacowo-parkowego w Łańcucie.

Wnętrza zamku zwiedzałam wielokrotnie i zdecydowanie polecam Wam uwzględnienie tego w planach, jeśli będziecie w okolicy. W tej chwili jest to oczywiście nieco utrudnione ze względu na obostrzenia, wchodzą niewielkie grupy, ale gdybyście mieli okazję - warto. 

The castle in Łańcut is a real gem. The castle was built in the 16th century by Stanisław Lubomirski, and in the 18th century, thanks to Izabella Lubomirska of the Czartoryski family, it became one of the most magnificent residences in Poland. The Museum website describes (also in English) the history of the palace and park complex in Łańcut.

I have visited the interiors of the castle many times and I strongly recommend that you include it in your plans if you are in the area. At the moment, of course, it is a bit difficult due to restrictions, there are small groups, but if you had the opportunity - it's worth it.

Tym razem spacerowałam tylko po parku, a towarzyszyły mi trzy panny Tonner. ;) 

Wszystkie pokazane dzisiaj stroje szyłam na zamówienie z dokładnymi wytycznymi co i jak. Nie powiem, było to wyzwanie.

This time, I was just walking in the park, with three Tonner ladies accompanying me. ;)

All the costumes shown today were made to order with precise guidelines on what and how. I must say it was a challenge.

Pierwszą modelką jest Time Flies Lizette. Prezentuje komplet składający się z dopasowanej sukienki przed kolano i płaszcza, który nawiązuje trochę do stylu lat 50-tych. 

I sukienka, i płaszcz mają podszewkę.

The first model is Time Flies Lizette. She presents a set consisting of a fitted dress above the knee and a coat, which is a bit reminiscent of the style of the 50's.

Both the dress and the coat are lined.

Lizette pozowała w części parku nazywanej Ogrodem Włoskim.

Lizette posed in the part of the park known as the Italian Garden.

Druga panna to Elizabeth Swan. Ona wystąpiła w kostiumie, który zainspirowany był z kolei kreacjami niezrównanej Coco Chanel. Mam nadzieję, że udało mi się uchwycić choć odrobinę uroku kreacji z tamtych lat.

The second lady is Elizabeth Swan. She poses in a suit inspired by the unparalleled Coco Chanel. I hope that I managed to capture at least a bit of the charm of the creations from those years.

Nie mam zbyt dużo zdjęć z frontową fasadą zamku, gdyż światło było wyjątkowo niesprzyjające. Ogólnie upał dał mi w kość i pod koniec sesji miałam wrażenie, że rozpuszczę się na jednej z alejek parku. ;)

I don't have too many photos with the front facade of the castle as the light was extremely unfavorable. Well, the heat gave me a hard time and at the end of this photo session I had the impression that I would dissolve in one of the park's alleys. ;)

Rabaty wokół zamku są cudowne - zadbane, kolorowe, wabiące pszczoły i motyle.

The flowerbeds around the castle are wonderful - neat, colorful, attracting bees and butterflies.

Do kostiumu uszyłam batystową bluzkę z falbanami przy rękawach i kołnierzu.

For the suit I sewed a cotton batiste blouse with ruffles at the sleeves and collar.

Tym sposobem doszliśmy do Ogrodu Różanego. A tu oprowadzi Was Rose. Myślę, że kraciasta sukienka pasuje do niej doskonale. :)

This way we came to the Rose Garden. And here Rose will be your guide. I think she looks wonderful in the Tartan dress. :)

Niedoczas | Shortage of time

Po tych szalonych upałach przyszło kilka pięknych, chłodniejszych dni. Wreszcie można odetchnąć z ulgą i trochę odpocząć. Wyjść na świeże powietrze i nie martwić się, że słońce spali nas żywcem. ;) 

Brakuje mi czasu na bloga, więc z regularnością postów jestem mocno na bakier. Niemniej dziękuję Wam kochani za wszystkie wizyty i komentarze - jestem bardzo szczęśliwa, że tyle osób wciąż zagląda do tego mojego zakątka w Internecie. :)

Ów brak czasu wynika również między innymi z tego, że nareszcie udało mi się otworzyć sklep Kamelia Dolls na Etsy. Planowałam to od bardzo dawna, ale przeróżne okoliczności odsuwały to cały czas na dalszy plan. Nareszcie się udało i mam nadzieję, że teraz już będzie działał na pełnych obrotach. :)

After this crazy heat, came some beautiful, cooler days. Finally, you can breathe a sigh of relief and relax a bit. Get out in the fresh air and don't worry about the sun burning us alive. ;)

I don't have enough time for a blog, so I'm at a loss with the regularity of posts. Nevertheless, thank you, dear ones, for all your visits and comments - I am very happy that so many people still visit my little place in the Internet. :)

This lack of time is also due to, among other things, the fact that I finally managed to open my Kamelia Dolls shop on Etsy. I had planned it for a long time, but various circumstances kept it aside all the time. It finally worked and I hope that it will now work at full capacity. :)

Dziś tylko kilka zdjęć z nowymi wzorami bluz z kapturem. Mamy więc kwitnącą wiśnię w dwóch wydaniach, koty i fale. Bluzy uszyłam z jerseyu, który fantastycznie układa się na miniaturowych modelkach. A pozują dziś (od lewej): Millie (Fashionistas #92), Neysa (Blue top z drugiego wypustu serii made to move), Goddess (Fashionistas #17) i Millie z serii BMR1959.

Today, just a few photos with new hoodie designs. So we have the cherry blossoms in two versions, cats and waves. Sweatshirts are made of jersey, which fits perfectly on miniature models. And today we have posing (from left): Millie (Fashionistas # 92), Neysa (Blue top from the second wave of the made to move series), Goddess (Fashionistas # 17) and Millie from the BMR1959 series.

Bluzy pasują nie tylko na standardowe lalki, ale także na panny z wysokim ciałkiem. Kieszenie z przodu są funkcjonalne, a sznurki w kapturach można ściągnąć tak samo, jak w pełnowymiarowych ubraniach. 

Sweatshirts fit not only on standard dolls, but also on ladies with tall body. The front pockets are functional and the strings in the hoods can be pulled down just like in full-size garments.

Letnia panna młoda | Summer bride

Jeszcze jedna suknia ślubna. Tak jakoś się zbiegło. ;) 

One more wedding dress. Somehow it came up this way. ;)

Tym razem jednak w zupełnie innym stylu. Prosta, delikatna, bez błyskotek i haftów. Uszyłam ją z białego szyfonu. Głównym elementem dekoracyjnym jest drapowana góra gorsetu. Modelką została jedna z moich ukochanych lalek, Barbie Glam Night Lea. 

This time, however, in a completely different style. Simple, delicate, no sparkles or embroideries. I made it of white chiffon. The main decorative element is the draped top of the corset. One of my beloved dolls, Barbie Glam Night Lea, became the model.

Dół sukni jest dwuwarstwowy. Spodnia uszyta jest z koła, zaś górna to swego rodzaju tren. Suknia zapinana jest z tyłu na zamek błyskawiczny.

Tak zupełnie nie udało mi się zrezygnować z koralików (wiecie, że mam słabość do haftu koralikowego... ;)), więc dodałam maleńką ozdobę na gorsecie sukni i pasującą do niej przypinkę przy welonie. Sam welon z kolei postanowiłam zrobić delikatny, z cieniutkiej siatki.

The bottom of the dress is double-layered. The underside is made of a circle, while the upper is a kind of train. The dress closes at the back with a zipper.

Well, I didn't manage to give up the beads completely (you know I have a weakness for bead embroidery...;)), so I added a tiny ornament on the corset of the dress and a matching pin on the veil. In turn, I decided to make the veil itself delicate, from a thin mesh.

Suknię możecie zobaczyć już u Izy na jej profilu @bella_belladoll na Instagramie - dziś wrzuciła filmik, jak wyjmuje ją z pudła. :) Moja suknia bierze udział w #dollsfashionweek2021. Iza pokaże różne ślubne kreacje, z których wybierze sześć do październikowego tygodnia mody. Będę wdzięczna, jeśli przytrzymacie za mnie kciuki. :)
