Chatka czarownic | Witches' hut

Ostatnio miałam ciekawe zadanie do wykonania - stroje czarownic na Halloween dla Evangelin. Ponieważ ja sama nie obchodzę tego święta, stwierdziłam, że mogę Wam pokazać moje panny Ghastly w roli czarownic już teraz. Stworzenie tych kreacji było nie lada wyzwaniem, ale przyznam, że miałam z tym sporo zabawy. :)

I had very intresting work to do - Halloween witches' outfits for Evangelines. I don't celebrate this holiday myself, so I decided that I can show you my Ghastly ladies playing witches right now. Making this creations was quite chalenging task but I have to admitt I had a lot of fun too. :)

A przecież porządna czarownica powinna mieć swoją chatkę. I kocioł. I nie zapominajmy o miotle! :)

And yet respectable witch should have her hut. And a cauldron. And don't forget the broom! :)

Pięknie pleciony koszyk pod ziołami to prezent od Millicent. :) Słoiczki z błyszczącym proszkiem stojące na półeczce za Barakudą również. 

Beautifuly weaved basket under herbs is a gift from Millicent. :) So are the jars with sparkling powder which are standing on the shelf behind Barracuda's back.

Wydaje mi się, że wreszcie dopracowałam podeszwy z wysokim obcasem. Bardzo lubię robić lalkowe buty.

I think I finally refined soles with high heels. I like making shoes for dolls very much.

Evangeline Ghastly - porównanie cz. I | Evangeline Ghastly - comparison part I

Zanim przejdę do tytułowego porównania chciałam tylko powiedzieć, że mój Graal otrzymał imię. :) Ostateczna decyzja zapadła. Matką Chrzestną została Selinka, gdyż to ona zaproponowała, aby nazwać ją Meluzyną. :)

Oto Meluzyna. :) 

Before I go to the comparison I mentioned in the title I would like to tell you, that my Grail has a name. :) Final decision is made. Selinka is a Godmother because it was her who proposed to call her Melusine. :)

A teraz porównanie panien Ghastly na prośbę Balbinki i Selinki. Gdyby ktoś nie chciał oglądać lalkowych golasów, to proszę dalej nie patrzeć. ;)

Na pierwszy rzut - ogólne porównanie lalek. Plastikowe ciałko jest odrobinę wyższe. Głównie wynika to z ustawienia stóp. Plastikowa Evangelina stoi bardziej na palcach. Długość tułowia od obojczyków do kroku jest taka sama.

And now the comparison of Ghastly ladies at the request of Balbinka and Selinka. If anyone doesn't want to watch nude dolls, please don't look any further. ;)

On the first view - general comparison of dolls. Plastic body is a bit taller. Mainly it's because how the feet are set. Plastic Evangeline stands more on the tiptoes. Lenght of the body itself from collarbones to the croth is the same.

W zasadzie panny mają prawie takie same kształty. Przy bardziej dopasowanych kreacjach trzeba tylko pamiętać, że w przypadku żywicznej Evie biust i biodra są nieco obszerniejsze. ;)

Both ladies have almost the same measurments. But you have to remember that resin Evie has a little wider breast and hips. That's important with very fitted creations. ;)

Porównanie rąk. Żywica po lewej. Osobiście uważam, że jest o wiele ładniejsza. Plastikowe lalki mają za długie palce.

Comparison of hands. Resin on the left. Personally I think it's a lot nicer. Plastic dolls have to long fingers.

Jeśli chodzi o pozowanie, to w obu przypadkach jest ono średnie. Jak na tak artykułowane lalki Evangeliny są mało ruchome. Co mnie niezwykle denerwuje. Przynajmniej Meluzyna może nieco bardziej poruszać głową. ;)

Speaking of posing both ladies have average capabilities. As for the articulated dolls Evangelines are moving poorly. What is really irritating for me. At least Melusine can move her head a bit more. ;)

No i może założyć nogę na nogę. ;)

And she can put her leg on the other. ;)

Lalkowy Graal | Grail Doll

Gdyby rok temu ktoś mnie zapytał, co sądzę o lalce Evangeline Ghastly (którejkolwiek) powiedziałabym o niej bez wahania: "jest brzydka!" Tak, tak. Naprawdę. Zresztą jeśli ktoś czytał wpis o tym, jak trafiła do mnie Evangeline Ghastly Black As Night, moja Modliszka, to nie mógł znaleźć tam zbytniego entuzjazmu odnośnie tej panny. Bardzo szybko się to jednak zmieniło, a jeszcze szybciej pojawiła się druga przedstawicielka tychże brzydkich lalek - Barakuda, czyli Evangeline Ghastly Midnight Waltz. :)

I wiecie jak to jest z patrzeniem w sieci na zdjęcia? Od tego właśnie oglądania pojawiają się kłopoty. Bo nagle wyskoczy jakiś obrazek, a my po prostu przepadamy. Zakładam, że dotyczy to każdego hobby, nie tylko lalkowego. Patrzenie szkodzi. Mi zaszkodziły zdjęcia tychże brzydul wykonanych z żywicy. Patrząc na nie jak ciele na malowane wrota, pomyślałam sobie, że cudownie byłoby taką mieć. I takie myślenie też prowadzi do katastrofy (głównie dla portfela).

A gdy zdarza się prawdziwa okazja, nie wolno jej przecież przepuścić. I owa katastrofa nareszcie nastąpiła - żywiczna Evangeline Ghastly Dark Smile w końcu do mnie przyjechała! :)

Najważniejsze, że wreszcie jest.

If a year ago anybody asked me what did I think about Evangeline Ghastly doll (no matter which one) I would said without hesitation: 'she's ugly!'. Yes, yes. Really. Anyway if anyone read post about how Evangeline Ghastly Black As Night, my Mantis, came to me - they coudn't find excessive enthusiasm there about that lady. But it changed very quickly, and even more quickly arrived another representative of this ugly dolls - Barracuda or Evangeline Ghastly Midnight Waltz. :)

You do now how looking on pictures in the Internet works, don't you? This 'only watching' makes troubles appear. It's that suddenly some photo pops out and we are just so lost. I assume that affects every kind of  hobby, not only dolls. Looking is dangerous. For me dangerous were photos of these ugly dolls made out of resin. I was staring on them and thinking how wonderful would be to have one like this. And thinking like that also leads to a catastrophe (mainly for one's wallet).

And when the real chance happens you just can't let it go. And that's how this catastrophe finally happened - resin Evangeline Ghastly Dark Smile came to me at last! :)

The most important is that she is finally here.

Suknię zaczęłam szyć, gdy tylko wiedziałam, że panna już została do mnie wysłana. Po czym przez dłuższy czas Barakuda mogła sobie postać na półce ubrana w ową kiecę, gdyż czekałam i czekałam na przyjazd mojego lalkowego Graala.

I started sewing the dress whenever I knew she was shipped to me. But then for a long time Barracuda was able to stand in this gown on the shelf while I was waiting and waiting for my Grail doll to come.

And now I'm staring again - though not on a photo anymore, but on a doll standing in my study. And I'm staring and smiling to myself. :)

Oczywiście zrobiłam bilion zdjęć, które są niemal identyczne. Ale! Kiedy spełniają się marzenia - jest to dozwolone. :) Zapraszam zatem na radosny spam fotograficzny. Choć twierdzę, że nie oddałam jej delikatnej urody tak, jak na to zasługuje. Muszę popracować nad oświetleniem.

I took billion of photos of course and they are almost identical. But! When your dreams come true - you are allowed. :) So I invite you for joyful photographic spam. Although I claim I didn't show her gentle beauty as she deserves. I have to work with lights.

There are no unboxing photos. I forgot to take them because of the sensations. :D

 

Do kompletu zrobiłam też kolczyki ze szklanymi kryształkami. Okazało się jednak, że moja nowa panna nie ma dziurek w uszach. Biżuterię zaprezentuje zatem Barakuda.

I made also earrings with glass crystals that fit the dress. But it turned out my new lady hasn't gor pierced ears. So Barracuda will present you the jewellery.

Jest Modliszka, jest Barakuda. Teraz muszę wynaleźć jakieś imię dla niej. Evangeliny wyjątkowo dostają swoje własne imiona. :) No, powiedzmy imiona. Może macie jakieś pomysły?

There is Mantis, there is Barracuda. Now I have to find some name for her. Evangelines are given their own names exceptionally. :) Well, let's call them names. Maybe you have some ideas?

Poranna kawa | Morning coffee

Wiecie, że bardzo lubię perły w lalkowej biżuterii. Do sukienki z poprzedniego postu dorobiłam właśnie perłowy komplet - naszyjnik i kolczyki. I teraz tą kreację można zakwalifikować właściwie jako strój wieczorowy bądź wizytowy. Co oczywiście nie wyklucza zaprezentowania jej w lalkowym ogródku podczas picia porannej kawy. ;) I zaprezentować nowy stolik do ogrodu.

You all know I like pearls as a dolls' jewellery very much. So I made a pearl set for a dress from previous post - necklace and earrings. And now I think this outfit can be classify as evening dress or formal wear. Of course it doesn't mean it can't be present in a dolls' garden during morning coffee time. ;) And present new garden table.

Na moment wyszło nawet słońce. :)

There was a sun for a brief moment. :)

Ale trwało to dosłownie kilka minut. Znów się zachmurzyło. 

But it lasted only few minutes. And it got cloudy again.

Buty, choć na zdjęciu wyglądają całkiem dobrze, sprawiły mi ogromnie dużo kłopotu. Źle wymierzyłam obcasy, były za krótkie i ustawione pod złym kątem. Poprawianie i sztukowanie ich zajęło mi bardzo dużo czasu. W dodatku nie jestem pewna połączenia pomiędzy białą częścią obcasa, a metalowym koralikiem. Cóż, te buty chyba zostaną u mnie, jako obuwie testowe. ;)

Shoes, even if they look nice on the photo, caused me a lot of trouble. I measured the heels in a wrong way, they were to short and positioned in a bad angle. Making tit right and adding height took me a very long time. And I'm not sure if the connection between white part of heel and metal bead will last. Well, I think this pair will stay with me as a test shoes. ;)
