Dwór Królowej Wróżek | The Court of the Fairy Queen

Kto by pomyślał, że aż tak mnie weźmie na te wróżki... A jednak. Rei (Mattel, Tinker Bell) ma już cały swój dwór, pełen kolorowych dwórek. 

Przy pierwszej próbie zrobienia zdjęć przegoniła mnie burza. Wciąż grzmiało mi nad głową, a wiatr co chwilę przewracał dopiero co ustawione lalki. Zdążyłam zrobić dosłownie jedno ujęcie i zaczęło padać, więc nastąpiła natychmiastowa ewakuacja. Nie wiem, czy będzie słychać, ale na filmiku w tle przetaczają się gromy.

Who would have thought that I would be so attracted to these fairies... And yet. Rei (Mattel, Tinker Bell) already has her entire court, full of colorful ladies.

The first time I tried to take photos, I was chased away by a storm. There were thunders above my head, and the wind kept knocking over the dolls that had just been placed. I only managed to take one shot and it started raining, so I had to evacuate immediately. I don't know if you can hear it, but there is thunder in the background of the video.

Pogoda zmienia się jednak z dnia na dzień i udało mi się powtórzyć sesję. A Fiona (Barbie Fashionistas #136) i Rosa (Barbie Fashionistas #207) tym razem mogły nawet rozwinąć skrzydła.

However, the weather changes from day to day and I managed to repeat the session. And Fiona (Barbie Fashionistas #136) and Rosa (Barbie Fashionistas #207) could even spread their wings this time.

Rei w roli Królowej Wróżek jest po prostu idealna. Aby to podkreślić, zrobiłam jej diadem pełen błyszczących w słońcu kryształków we wszystkich kolorach tęczy.

Rei as the Fairy Queen is simply perfect. To emphasize this, I made her a tiara full of crystals shining in the sun in all colors of the rainbow.

Niebieskowłosa panna to księżniczka z Dreamtopii. Lalka pojawiła się na rynku w 2022 roku, ale przyznam, że dowiedziałam się o niej dużo później, szukając łebków pasujących na ciało tenisistki. Kupiłam ją w styczniu, za całe 26 zł. Ma bardzo ładne, sypkie i delikatne włosy w pięknym odcieniu błękitu. I dostała również mold, który bardzo lubię - to Daya. U mnie otrzymała jednak imię Nikaia - jak najada (nifma wód lądowych) z greckich mitów.

The blue-haired lady is a princess from Dreamtopia. The doll appeared on the market in 2022, but I admit that I found out about her much later, when I was looking for heads that would match the tennis player's body. I bought her in January for PLN 26 (around 6$). She has very nice, loose and delicate hair in a beautiful shade of sky blue. And she also got a mold that I like very much - it's Daya. In my case, however, she was named Nikaia - after the naiad (nyphma of land waters) from Greek myths.

Fiona i Rosa unoszą się z gracją nad królową i jej dwórkami. Lekki wiatr pomógł mi rozwiewając spódnice, zwłaszcza błękitnej kreacji.

Fiona and Rosa float gracefully above the Queen and her ladies. A light wind helped me spreading the skirts, especially in the blue outfit.

Przyznam się, że bardziej skupiłam się na błękitnej wróżce. Jest to o tyle usprawiedliwione, że poprzedni post należał do Rosy.

I admit that I focused more on the blue fairy. This is justified because the previous post belonged to Rosa.

Niebieska wersja wróżkowej kreacji powstała w podobnym stylu, jak zielona i bordowa. Składa się ze zwiewnej, wielowarstwowej spódnicy z tiulu, szyfonu i haftowanej siatki. Do tego gorset z żakardu w kwiatowy motyw i naszyjnik ze szklanych koralików.

The blue version of the fairy outfit was created in a similar style to the green and burgundy ones. It consists of an airy, multi-layered skirt made of tulle, chiffon and embroidered mesh. Accessorized with a jacquard bodice with a floral motif and a necklace made of glass beads.

Dwórkami królowej zostały także obie Odylie, Maureen (The Little Mermaid, Perla) i Aisha (Barbie BMR1959, Pazette).

Both Odiles, Maureen (The Little Mermaid, Perla) and Aisha (Barbie BMR1959, Pazette) also became the queen's ladies-in-waiting.

Wiosenne szaleństwo | Spring madness

Tegoroczna wiosna jest przedziwna. Wszystko wokół wybuchło kwiatami w jednej chwili - wszystko to, co normalnie powinno rozłożyć się na koniec marca, kwiecień i maj. Na zdjęciu poniżej po lewej magnolia 'Susan', wiśnia i magnolia 'Genie', wszystkie obsypane kwieciem.

This year's spring is strange. Everything around exploded with flowers in an instant - everything that should normally spread out at the end of March, April and May. In the photo below on the left, magnolia 'Susan', cherry and magnolia 'Genie', all covered with flowers.

Mei (Mattel, The Little Mermaid, Mala) w zielonej wiedźmiej kreacji została moją modelką podczas spaceru po wiosennym ogrodzie.

Mei (Mattel, The Little Mermaid, Mala) in a green witch's outfit became my model during a walk in the spring garden.

Tym razem jednak będzie więcej kwiatów, niż lalek. ;)

Magnolia pośrednia (poniżej) kwitnie zwykle w ostatnim tygodniu kwietnia lub na początku maja. Pierwszy raz zdarzyło się, aby zakwitła końcem marca. Kwiaty trzymały się prawie dwa tygodnie - wyjątkowo długo, a to zapewne dlatego, że nie było przymrozków.

This time, however, there will be more flowers than dolls. ;)

Magnolia soulangeana (below) usually blooms in the last week of April or early May. It bloomed for the first time at the end of March. The flowers lasted for almost two weeks - an exceptionally long time, probably because there were no frosts.

Choć generalnie pogoda jest cudowna i słoneczna, w zeszłym tygodniu padało przez jeden dzień. I wtedy też biegałam z aparatem. ;)

Although the weather is generally lovely and sunny, it rained for one day last week. And then I also ran with my camera. ;)

Magnolia 'Susan' zaczyna zwykle kwitnąć wtedy, gdy przekwita magnolia pośrednia. Tym razem nie czekała.

Magnolia 'Susan' usually begins to bloom when the magnolia soulangeana fades. This time she didn't wait.

Również magnolia 'Genie' pospieszyła się w tym roku. I tym razem zachwyciła mnie ilością kwiatów.

Magnolia 'Genie' also showed off this year. And this time I was delighted with the number of flowers.

Odszukałam post sprzed dwóch lat, również pełen kwiatów- "Lalki, kwiaty i słońce". Pisałam go 5 maja i dopiero wtedy kwitły fioletowe magnolie, wiśnia i jabłonie. W zeszłym roku wśród kwiatów wiśni pozowała Astrid, a było to końcem kwietnia. W tym roku już po wszystkim. Zdjęcia z Mei robiłam pięć dni temu, a dziś wiśnia już przekwitła...

I found a post from two years ago, also full of flowers - "Dolls, flowers and sun". I wrote it on May 5, and only then were the purple magnolias, cherry trees and apple trees blooming. Last year, Astrid posed among the cherry blossoms, and it was the end of April. This year it's all over. I took photos with Mei five days ago, and today the cherry blossoms have already bloomed...

Kwitnące wiśnie to jeden z najpiękniejszych i najbardziej magicznych widoków na świecie.

Blooming cherries are one of the most beautiful and magical sights in the world.

Choć i jabłonie niewiele im ustępują.

Although apple trees are not much inferior to them.

A teraz ogródkowy spam fotograficzny. Bo naprawdę chodzę i zachwycam się każdym kwiatkiem czy młodym listkiem. Kocham, po prostu kocham włochate, jaskrawozielone liście grabów.

And now garden photo spam. Because I really walk around and admire every flower and young leaf. I love, I just love, the hairy, bright green leaves of hornbeams.

Mam słabość do niebieskich kwiatów. Dlatego między innymi mam w ogrodzie szafirki.

I have a weakness for blue flowers. That's why, among other things, I have grape hyacinths in my garden.

Z kolei pigwowiec szaleje z ognistopomarańczowymi kwiatami.

The quince, on the other hand, goes crazy with fiery orange flowers.

Kwitną także borówki...

Blueberries are also blooming...

...i poziomki.

...and wild strawberries.

Fioletowe fiołki już prawie przekwitły, ale pałeczkę przejęły białe.

The purple violets had almost faded, but the white ones took over.

I moje ukochane, najukochańsze niezapominajki. Pamiętacie sesję z Dayą o kolorowych włosach? :)

Tyle na dziś. Choć zdjęć mam pierdyliard więcej, bo nie przepuściłam nawet słonecznym mleczom, których uwierzcie, nie brakuje mi w ogrodzie. ;) 

Po prostu kocham wiosnę. Zieleń, kwiaty, słońce. Czerpię z tego tyle radości, ile się da. Nadrabiam szaro-bure miesiące. W ogrodzie co prawda mam huk roboty, bo przez problemy zdrowotne uciekły mi jesienne porządki i teraz mam kumulację prac wszelkich, jesiennych i wiosennych... Sprawiają mi jednak dużo radości. Szkoda tylko, że doba jest taka krótka. ;)

Pozmieniałam też nieco rzeczy w lalkowym ogrodzie, ale to już zostawiam na osobny post. 

That's it for today. Although I have a billion more photos, because I didn't even miss the sunny dandelions, which, believe me, I have plenty in my garden. ;)

I just love spring. Greenery, flowers, sun. I get as much joy out of it as I can. I'm making up for the gray and dreary months. It's true that I have a lot of work to do in the garden, because due to health problems I missed the autumn cleaning and now I have an accumulation of all kinds of work, both from autumn and spring... However, they give me a lot of joy. It's just a pity that the day is so short. ;)

I also changed some things in the doll garden, but I'll leave that for a separate post.
