To pierwsza przedstawicielka serii Dolls of The World, która do mnie trafiła. Mam ogromną nadzieję, że nie ostatnia. :)
Przedstawiam Wam Barbie Spain 1999.
This is the first representative od Dolls of the Worls series that came to me. I really hope she's not the last. :)
I present to you Barbie Spain 1999. She's not the first Spanish in this series and not the last - I checked it fast and it seems there is four of them (if I'm wrong please correct it). But she's the only one in matador's outfit. And though her clothes are made very neatly I can't stand (as well as Zgredka from whom I bought her) looking on a doll that promotes corrida. That was also the reason I didn't feel like I want to take photos of her. I recommend you to check Zgredka's blog though - she took beautiful photos of this lady. I took only few as reminders. The plan was to redress her anyway.
Przełożyłam główkę na ciałko made to move.
Praca wre. Obiecuję, że gdy zrealizuję projekt "miliona falban" (kiedyś) - zdjęcia będą ciekawsze.
Well, it turned out that the outfit is sewed on the doll. Yeah... It didn't want to ruin it - it's a collector doll from a few years ago after all. But I found other solution. I took the head and put it on made to move body. And... even if it's not a perfect match (there is almost no difference in daylight, lamps highlighted it) it was a great choice! :)
This way the headless matador is hidden deep in the drawer and doesn't bother me anymore with it's presence. And beautiful Mackie can "move" a bit now. ;) I'm really glad because she has perfectly painted face and is one of the most intresting dolls among my Barbies.
She should have real red flamenco dress with million of frills. And she will have one as soon as I will have time to sew it. For now she has some outfit for replacement but I think colours fit her.
Sorry that this session is really not intresting at all but I have no time. I'm working hard. I promise that when I will realize "million frills" project (someday) there will be something more intresting.
