Sukienka w róże | Rose dress

Mam Wam do pokazania kilka zaległych sukienek. ;)

Pierwszą z nich zaprezentuje panna, której jeszcze na blogu nie było. Przyjechała do mnie od Agnieszki z bloga Kreatywne Wariactwa (Aga, litości, weź tam coś napisz!).

I have a few overdue dresses to show you. ;)

The first one will be presented by a lady who hasn't been on the blog yet. She came to me from Agnieszka from the Creative Madness blog (Aga, for heavens sake, get something written there!).

To Dance Party Tori 1999 z serii Generation Girl, a dokładniej z drugiej edycji. Znalazłam świetny opis tych lalek na stronie fashiondollz.de, gdyby ktoś był zainteresowany. :)

Tori jest prześliczna, ma bardzo delikatną urodę. Co ciekawe, ma też nieco inne ciałko - drobniejsze, z artykułowanymi rękami i gumowymi nogami o nieco innych stopach niż standardowo. Ma też śliczne dłonie, w dodatku z pomalowanymi paznokciami. ;)

It's Dance Party Tori 1999 from the Generation Girl series, and more specifically from the second edition of it. I found a great description of these dolls on fashiondollz.de in case anyone would be interested. :)

Tori is beautiful, she has a very delicate beauty. Interestingly, it also has a slightly different body - smaller, with articulated arms and rubber legs with slightly different feet than the standard ones. She also has beutiful hands, and what's more - with painted nails. ;)

Sukienkę uszyłam z cieniutkiej wiskozy w pastelowy, różany wzór. Delikatny róż, zieleń i seledynowy pasują do niej wprost idealnie. Sukienka zapinana jest z tyłu na zamek błyskawiczny.

The dress was made of thin viscose with a pastel rose pattern. Delicate pink, green and aquamarine go perfectly with her beauty. The dress closes at the back with a zipper.

Zdjęcia robiłam jeszcze w sierpniu, stąd ta zieleń i słońce. Ale ja Wam życzę równie słonecznej jesieni. :)

I took photos in August, hence the greenery and the sun. But I wish you an equally sunny autumn. :)

 

Mała chatka pełna magii | A little hut full of magic

Tak jak obiecałam, oto chatka wiedźm. Nie pierwszy raz pojawia się na blogu. Najpierw była siedzibą panien Ghastly. Trzeba przyznać, że im rola dam w spiczastych kapeluszach pasuje doskonale. ;)

Rok później chatka przewinęła się w postach dwukrotnie. Najpierw zajęły ją Modliszka z Barakudą, a później przeszła we władanie czterech 12-calowych wiedźm. Małych, ale bardzo pracowitych. 

Rok temu nie wyrobiłam się z jesienną, magiczną sesją. Ale teraz nadrabiam. Jak widzicie chatka zyskała sporo dodatkowego wyposażenia, zapasy zielarskie, nowe meble i piec. Oraz nową lokatorkę, której jeszcze nie pokazywałam, choć zaraz minie rok, odkąd jest u mnie w kolekcji. To Minerva McGonagall z potterowskiej serii Mattela. 

As promised, here is the witches' hut. This is not the first time it has appeared on the blog. First, it was the headquarters of the Ghastly girls. I must admit that the role of ladies in pointed hats suits them perfectly. ;)

A year later, the cabin appeared in the posts twice. First it was taken by the Mantis and Barracuda, and then it was taken over by four 12-inch witches. Small, but very hardworking.

A year ago, I didn't make it to show fall magical session. But now I'm catching up. As you can see, the hut has gained a lot of additional equipment, herbal supplies, new furniture and a stove. And a new tenant, which I haven't shown yet, although it will be a year since she's in my collection. This is Minerva McGonagall from Mattel's Potter series.

Makramowe kwietniki to dzieło mojej Siostry. Uplotła je dla mnie dawno temu, w planach była letnia altanka i oczywiście na planach się skończyło. ;) Nie ma jednak tego złego, doniczki zawisły w chatce.

Macrame flower hangers are the work of my Sister. She wove them for me a long time ago, there was a summer gazebo in the plans, and of course, it ended with planning. ;) However, there is nothing to worry about, the pots are hanging in the hut.

W chatce obowiązkowo musiały znaleźć się dynie. Gdy tylko zaczyna się sezon - potrawy z dynią pojawiają się na naszym stole co chwilę. Zupa z dyni z imbirem to zdecydowanie moja ulubiona wersja dyni, choć konkuruje z nią mocno hummus z dynią, curry z dynią i szpinakiem czy makaron z jej dodatkiem. 

Ta pora roku to również czas, gdy parzy się dobrą herbatę i chowa pod kocem z dobrą książką w ręku. Jeśli ktoś chciałby poczytać przyjemną, lekką książkę nawiązującą do naszych krajowych wiedźm i szeptuch, to polecam "Słowiańską Wiedźmę" Dobromiły Agiles. Nie planuję co prawda wypróbowywać opisanych tam zaklęć i uroków. ;) Książka jest jednak ciekawą... ściągą ze słowiańskiej mitologii, zwyczajów, świąt i przepisów kulinarnych. Pojawia się trochę zielarstwa. A do tego jest pięknie wydana. Zaś w ramach jeszcze lżejszej lektury - cykl "Kwiat Paproci" (pierwszy tom zatytułowany jest "Szeptucha") Katarzyny Bereniki Miszczuk. Romans, a i owszem, ale kto powiedział, że zawsze trzeba czytać poważne dzieła? ;)

Pumpkins must be present in the hut. As soon as the season starts - pumpkin dishes appear on our table every now and then. Pumpkin soup with ginger is definitely my favorite, although pumpkin hummus, curry with pumpkin and spinach or pasta with its addition compete strongly with it.

This time of year is also the time when you brew good tea and hide under a blanket with a good book in hand. If anyone would like to read a nice, light book referring to our national witches and whisperers, I recommend Dobromiła Agiles, "Słowiańska Wiedźma" ("Slavic Witch"). I do not plan to try out the spells and charms described there. ;) However, the book is interesting. It's a kind of compendium about Slavic mythology, customs, holidays and recipes. Some herbalism appears. Moreover, it is beautifully presented. As part of an even lighter reading - the series "Fern Flower" (the first volume is entitled "Szeptucha") by Katarzyna Berenika Miszczuk. Romance, yes, but who said that you always have to read serious works? ;)

Książki - w rękach Minervy i na skrzyni obok - to oczywiście cuda od Igi (blog Aya w Świecie Lalek, Instagram, Facebook).

Układając tegoroczną dioramę sama byłam zdziwiona ile tych pierdółek mi się nazbierało. ;) Oczywiście miniaturek nigdy za wiele i już wiem, że muszę uzupełnić parę rzeczy dla moich wiedźm. Zwróćcie proszę uwagę na dwa wazony w morskich kolorach na środkowej półce kredensu. O nich jeszcze wspomnę.

The books - in Minerva's hands and on the crate next to her - are of course wonders from Iga (Aya in Dolls World blog, Instagram, Facebook).

When arranging this year's diorama, I was surprised myself how many stuff I had gathered. ;) Of course, there are never too many miniatures and I already know that I have to complete a few things for my witches. Please note the two sea-colored vases on the middle shelf of the sideboard. I will mention them later.

Czarny kot oczywiście obecny.

The black cat, of course, is there.

Zielarki, które w poprzednim poście dzielnie przemierzały las w poszukiwaniu składników do kociołka, dotarły do chatki Minervy.

The herb women, who bravely roamed the forest in the previous post, in search of ingredients for the cauldron, reached Minerva's hut.

Strój Minervy też ma kilka warstw. Szara sukienka z bawełny, spódnica z tencelu, który wyglądem nieco przypomina w tej skali wełnę, batystowa zapaska i bawełniana kwiecista chusta.

Minerva's outfit also has several layers. A gray cotton dress, a tencel skirt that resembles wool on this scale, a cotton batiste apron and a floral cotton shawl.

Cała trójka dziarsko wzięła się do pracy. Trzeba było napalić pod kociołkiem, zacząć warzenie mikstury, przynieść wszystkie ingrediencje. Kot również spełnia swoją rolę - nadzoruje. ;)

All three set to work briskly. They had to fire under the cauldron, start brewing the mixture, bring all the ingredients. The cat also fulfills its role - it supervises. ;)

Wspomniałam o wazonach szkliwionych w morskich kolorach. Na stoliku stoi jeszcze jeden, a obok miska. Później jeszcze zobaczycie taką miskę w rękach Mery. Maleńkie ceramiczne cudeńka, które zostały stworzone przez polską artystkę, Annę Wybranowską. Zajrzyjcie na jej profil na Instagramie lub Facebooku. Miałam okazję kiedyś posłuchać o tym, jak wygląda proces szkliwienia, od czego zależy, o temperaturze wypalania i wszystkich tych zawiłościach. Tym bardziej uwierzyć nie mogę, że dało się to zrobić w tej skali. ;)

I mentioned glazed vases in marine colors. There is one more on the table and a bowl next to it. Later you will see such a bowl in Mera's hands. Tiny ceramic wonders that were created by a Polish artist, Anna Wybranowska. Check out her profile on Instagram or Facebook. Once I had the opportunity to hear about the glazing process, what it depends on, the firing temperature and all these intricacies. The more I can't believe that it could be done on this scale. ;)

Bardzo lubię filmy o wiedźmach i czarodziejach. Z tych lekkich - takie jak "Hokus Pokus" (1993), "Totalna magia" (1998) czy serial "Good Witch" (2015-2021). No i filmy o Harrym Potterze również. Te moje wiedżmy też do takich należą. ;)

I really like movies about witches and wizards. The light ones - such as "Hocus Pocus" (1993), "Practical Magic" (1998) or the series "Good Witch" (2015-2021). And Harry Potter movies, of course. My witches are like that too. ;)

Lekcja zielarstwa | Herbology lesson

Jesień, jesień... :) Te kolory, cudne ciepłe światło, wrzosy, dynie, grzyby. Kiedyś nie byłam miłośniczką tej pory roku, ale od paru lat wyczekuję jej wręcz z niecierpliwością. Wraz z babim latem w powietrzu unosi się również jesienna magia. :)

Autumn, autumn... :) These colors, wonderful warm light, heathers, pumpkins, mushrooms. Once upon a time I wasn't a fan of this season, but for several years I have been waiting impatiently for it. Along with gossamer threads, there is also autumn magic in the air. :)

Jesień kojarzy mi się z wiedźmami. Pewnie poniekąd za sprawą mody na Halloween, która przywędrowała do nas jakiś czas temu. Ale nie tylko. W końcu i my mamy swoją Babę Jagę, szeptuchy i zielarki. :)

Autumn reminds me of  witches. Probably because of the Halloween that came to us a while ago. But not only. After all, we also have our Baba Yaga, szeptuchy (old Polish word for witches, we han translate it "whisperer" more or less) and herbalists. :)

W tym roku jesienno-wiedźmowe wpisy zacznę spacerem po lesie w towarzystwie dwóch panien w spiczastych kapeluszach. Ale nie martwcie się, chatka wiedźm też się pojawi. :)

Najpierw jednak przejdziemy się po pięknym, zmieniającym już barwy lesie. Spacer był tym przyjemniejszy, że razem ze mną pojechała moja przyjaciółka. We dwie poszwędałyśmy się po leśnych ścieżkach szukając najładniejszych miejsc na sesję zdjęciową. Od lat mnie wspiera, zagląda tu na bloga i choć sama nie zbiera lalek, to podrzuca czasami rekwizyty do sesji, które uda jej się znaleźć. :)

This year, I will start my autumn-witch entries with a walk in the woods in the company of two ladies in pointed hats. But don't worry, the witches' hut will also appear. :)

First, however, we will take a walk through a beautiful forest that is already changing colors. The walk was all the more enjoyable as my best friend went with me. The two of us wandered along forest paths looking for the most beautiful places for a photo session. She has been supporting me for years, visiting my blog here, and although she doesn't collect dolls herself, she sometimes tosses props for sessions that she can find. :)

Tegoroczne stroje wiedźm nie są typowymi kostiumami na Halloween. Postawiłam nie na czerń i pomarańcz, ale na różne kolory i wzory. Jak widzicie dorzuciłam jednak czarne, spiczaste kapelusze, żeby nie było wątpliwości co do tego, z kim mamy do czynienia. ;) 

This year's witch outfits are not typical Halloween costumes. I didn't choose black and orange, but different colors and patterns. However, I added black pointed hats so that there was no doubt as to who we are dealing with. ;)

Strój Mery składa się z jasnej falbaniastej spódnicy z kreszowanego batystu, szarej haftowanej sukienki (również batystowej), szarego kardiganu i czarnej narzutki zrobionej na drutach (druty 1,5 mm, czarny kordonek bawełniany).

Kate zaś ma batystową, długą sukienkę khaki, wzorzystą spódnicę z szyfonu, czarny batystowy żakiet i brązowy szal z dzianiny. Szal "upięłam" doszywając ozdobną obręcz.

Mera's outfit consists of a light ruffled skirt made of crinkle cotton batiste, a gray embroidered dress (also batiste), a gray cardigan and a black knitted cape (3-0 knitting needles, black cotton crochet thread).

Kate wears a long khaki cotton batiste dress, a patterned chiffon skirt, a black cotton batiste jacket, and a brown knitwear scarf. I "pin up" the shawl by sewing a decorative element.

Jak wiadomo, w lesie można znaleźć same skarby. Zwłaszcza, jak się jest wiedźmą. ;) Trzeba uzupełnić zapasy grzybów, ziół i tym, co jeszcze może się przydać w chatce na kurzej nóżce. ;)

As you know, treasures can be found in the forest. Especially when you are a witch. ;) You have to replenish the stocks of mushrooms, herbs and whatever else can be useful in a chicken leg house.. ;)

Najbardziej zależało mi na znalezieniu wrzosowiska. Niestety, nie udało się. Jedyne, na co udało nam się natknąć, to kępa przyschniętych wrzosów. Ale sesja i tak wyszła w nich bardzo malowniczo. W dużej mierze to zasługa obu lalek - wyjątkowo wpasowały się w swoje role. ;)

The most important thing for me was to find the moor. Unfortunately, it didn't work. The only thing we came across was a clump of dried heather. But the session was very picturesque in them anyway. This is largely due to both dolls - they fit into their roles exceptionally well. ;)

Jak Wam się podobał spacer po jesiennym lesie w towarzystwie dwóch rudowłosych wiedźm? :) Już niedługo zabiorę Was do leśnej chatki, w której zobaczycie, co uważą z nazbieranych zapasów.
