Pradawna Rei i kilka słów | Ancient Rei and a few words

Zmiana pracy i parę zmian w życiu spowodowały, że mam o wiele mniej czasu na social media, lalkowe grupy na Facebooku i śledzenie lalkowego Instagrama. I czasami tęsknię - zwłaszcza za Waszymi blogami i tym, że kiedyś jakoś udawało się odwiedzić je wszystkie, poczytać i skomentować...

Na lalki na szczęście znajduję czas. Nawet jeśli więc rzadziej publikuję - to nie znaczy, że lalkowe hobby poszło w odstawkę. Oj nie. Zdecydowanie nie. :)

A job change and a few life changes have meant I have much less time for social media, doll Facebook groups, and following doll Instagram. And sometimes I miss it – especially your blogs and the fact that I used to somehow manage to visit, read, and comment on all of them...

Luckily, I find time for dolls. So even if I post less often, it doesn't mean the doll hobby has been put on hold. Oh no. Definitely not. :)

Teraz jednak skupiam się na naszej lalkowej historii, którą razem z Jo snujemy na wspólnym profilu na Instagramie - Tales from The Witch World (Opowieści z Wiedźmiego Świata).

Zabawne, jak to się wszystko zaczęło. Kupiłam sobie (a było to 4 lata temu) lalkę Bellatrix Lestrange. Pomyślałam sobie, że byłaby z niej wspaniała wiedźma. A że jeszcze wspanialej byłoby wybudować domek dla lalek z marzeń, taką leśną chatkę... Wszyscy wiemy, jak to się skończyło. Z jednej wiedźmy i jednej chatki zrobiło się sześć królestw na Kontynencie Północnym, a w tych królestwach cała gromada postaci. xD

Tak, tak. Pewnie wyłapaliście powyższą wzmiankę o Kontynencie Północnym. Zostawiłyśmy sobie furtkę na Kontynent Południowy, gdyby nagle zabrakło nam królestw. :P

Bo należy dodać, że w międzyczasie, gdzieś na etapie "jak wspaniale byłoby zrobić dioramę leśnej chaty" do tego szaleństwa dołączyła Jo. Najpierw tworząc wiedźmią historię równoległą do mojej, a później jakoś tak wyszło, że wszystko nam się poprzeplatało...

For now, though, I'm focusing on our doll story, which Jo and I are spinning on our shared Instagram profile – Tales from the Witch World.

It's funny how it all started. I bought myself (4 years ago) a Bellatrix Lestrange doll. I thought she would make a wonderful witch. And what an even more wonderful thing it would be to build a dream dollhouse, a forest cottage... We all know how that ended. From one witch and one cottage, we grew into six kingdoms on the Northern Continent, and within those kingdoms, a whole army of characters. xD

Yes, yes. You probably caught the mention of the Northern Continent above. We left ourselves a loophole to the Southern Continent in case we suddenly ran out of kingdoms. :P

Because it should be added that in the meantime, somewhere around the stage of "how great it would be to make a diorama of a forest cottage," Jo joined in on the madness. First, by creating a witch story parallel to mine, and then somehow everything ended up intertwined...

Dziś chciałam Wam pokazać nową-starą postać. Pradawna Rei, nieformalna królowa Elfów mieszkająca w Wielkiej Puszczy. Początkowo rolę tą dostała inna lalka, Dzwoneczek z Piotrusia Pana, która wystąpiła w poście "Dwór Królowej Wróżek". Jednak w miarę pisania wiedźmiej historii i dokładania innych postaci wyszło nam, że musimy zrobić małą zmianę w obsadzie. Dzwoneczek zostanie, ale w zupełnie innej roli - zobaczycie ją za jakiś czas. Natomiast Pradawną została panna Basics z twarzą Louboutin. Miała być kimś innym, ale okazało się, że jest po prostu idealną kandydatką dla tej postaci.

Today I wanted to show you a new-old character. The Ancient Rei, the informal queen of the elves living in the Great Forest. Initially, this role went to another doll, Tinkerbell from Peter Pan, who appeared in the post "The Court of the Fairy Queen". However, as we continued to write the witch's story and add other characters, we realized we needed to make a small change to the cast. Tinkerbell will remain, but in a completely different role - you'll see her soon. The Ancient one, however, bacame Basics lady with the Louboutin face. She was supposed to be someone else, but it turned out she was simply the perfect candidate for this role.

PRADAWNA REI

Choć nie ma oficjalnego tytułu, jest niekwestionowaną władczynią Wielkiej Puszczy i mieszkających tam Magicznych. Jest jedną z Trójki Pradawnych, najstarszych żyjących na kontynencie istot.

Mieszka w Hiarcie, sercu Wielkiego Lasu. Cieszy się wielkim szacunkiem Magicznych, przewodzi wiecom i zazwyczaj jej głos jest decydujący w przypadku, gdy starszyzna leśnych plemion nie może dojść do porozumienia.

Od czasu uwięzienia Dradorcha w Fortecy wycofała się zupełnie w niedostępne dla niemagicznych knieje i odcięła od tego, co dzieje się na kontynencie. I choć bardzo starała się ignorować przez wieki wszystko, co działo się poza granicami magicznego lasu – tym razem nie ma wyboru i musi znów wziąć udział w wydarzeniach, które toczą się w Królestwach Ludzi.

ANCIENT REI

Though she has no official title, she is the undisputed ruler of the Ancient Forest and the Magicians who live there. She is one of the Three Ancients, the oldest living beings on the continent.

She lives in Hiarta, the heart of the Great Forest. She is highly respected by the Magicians, leads meetings, and is usually the deciding factor when the elders of the forest tribes cannot reach an agreement.

Since Dradorch's imprisonment in the Fortress, she has withdrawn completely into the forests, inaccessible to non-magics, and cut herself off from the events on the continent. And although she has tried her best to ignore everything happening beyond the boundaries of the magical forest for centuries, this time she has no choice but to once again participate in the events unfolding in the Human Kingdoms.

I tak to wygląda. Przed nami dalsza historia, pełno strojów do uszycia, kilka dioram do zrobienia i dobra zabawa. Przede wszystkim. Zapraszam Was serdecznie do obserwowania, a gdyby ktoś miał ochotę nadrobić historię, to podrzucam listę odcinków Opowieści z Wiedźmiego Świata.
