Syreny | Mermaids

Choć bloga prowadzę już prawie sześć lat, to jeszcze nie było u mnie syren... Aż sama jestem tym faktem zaskoczona. ;) Pojawiła się jedynie Pani Mórz - w tej roli wystąpiła Evangelina.

Postanowiłam więc nadrobić braki i dziś prezentuję pierwszą sesję z ogoniastymi pannami. Zwłaszcza, że trwa właśnie MerMay, a przy okazji zbliżającej się premiery nowej wersji "Małej Syrenki", syreny pojawiają się dosłownie wszędzie.

Although I've been blogging for almost six years, I haven't had any mermaids yet... I'm surprised by this fact myself. ;) Only the Lady of the Seas was here - in this role Evangelina appeared.

So I decided to make up for these shortcomings and today I present the first session with tailed ladies. Especially since MerMay is underway, and on the occasion of the upcoming premiere of the new version of "The Little Mermaid", mermaids appear literally everywhere.

Wybrałam się w to samo miejsce, gdzie rok temu zrobiłam sesję na Kupalnockę. I byłam mocno rozczarowana - bałagan na brzegu był okropny, ciężko było znaleźć kawałek piasku nadający się do zdjęć. Jakoś się jednak udało.

I went to the same place where a year ago I did a session for Kupala Night. And I was very disappointed - the mess on the shore was terrible, it was hard to find a piece of sand suitable for photos. Somehow, however, it worked.

Pierwszą modelką jest Margaret (Mattel, Bellatrix Lestrange). Dla niej uszyłam czarny ogon i biustonosz. Jak dla mnie nie było innej opcji - cukierkowe kolory zdecydowanie do niej nie pasują. ;)

The first model is Margaret (Mattel, Bellatrix Lestrange). For her I sewed a black tail and a bra. As for me, there was no other option - candy colors definitely do not match her. ;)

Ostre światło spowodowało, że zgubiły się złote plamki na płetwie. Podrzucam więc fotkę z szycia. Płetwa jest dosyć sztywna, ma również wszyte "fiszbiny" z drutów - umożliwia to ułożenie jej w dowolny sposób. Do tego doszyłam drugą, z szyfonu. Zobaczycie później, jak fajnie faluje w wodzie. :)

The harsh light caused the golden spots on the fin to disappear. So I'm throwing a photo of the sewing. The fin is quite stiff, it also has sewn "underwires" from wires - this allows you to arrange it in any way. I also sewed another one, made of chiffon. You'll see later how cool it undulates in the water. :)

Próbowałam zrobić też zdjęcia "podwodne", ale zabrakło mi trzeciej ręki. xD Z kilku zdjęć cykniętych z wielkim trudem do pokazania nadaje się jedno. Ale jeszcze nad tym popracuję. Dla ciekawych napiszę, że zdjęcie robiłam telefonem. Podpatrzyłam kiedyś na jakiejś rolce ze sztuczkami fotograficznymi, żeby włożyć do wody szklankę (do połowy), a do niej telefon i cyknąć zdjęcie. No i nie jest to taki proste jak na filmiku, tyle Wam powiem. xD I tak. Targałam ze sobą wazon na sesję (nie mam odpowiedniej szklanki, do której zmieściłby się telefon). 

I also tried to take "underwater" photos, but I missed the third hand. xD Out of several photos taken with great difficulty, one is suitable for showing. But I'll still think about it. For the curious, I will write that the photo was taken with my phone. I once saw on some roll with photographic tricks to put a glass (half) in water, and a phone in it and take a picture. And it's not as easy as in the video, let me tell you that much. xD And yes. I was lugging a vase with me to the session (I don't have the right glass to fit the phone).

Drugą syreną została Astrid (Barbie Looks #16). Dla niej wybrałam srebro i granat.

The second mermaid was Astrid (Barbie Looks #16). For her, I chose silver and navy blue.

Poranne słońce, rosa, woda i syrena. No i taki mamy obrazek.

Morning sun, dew, water and a mermaid. Well, we have a picture.

Brakowało mi możliwości wejścia do wody i zrobienia zdjęć w stronę brzegu. Ale jakoś nie miałam ochoty wchodzić do tej wody. I nie dlatego, że było zimno... Zresztą natychmiast po powrocie do domu i lalki, i ogony zostały wyprane. xD Ale przynajmniej przetestowałam jak płetwy to znoszą - i mogę powiedzieć, że znoszą bardzo dobrze.

Muszę kiedyś znaleźć lepszy zbiornik wodny i powtórzyć syrenią sesję w terenie.

I missed the opportunity to enter the water and take pictures towards the shore. But somehow I didn't feel like going in that water. And not because it was cold... Anyway, immediately after returning home, both the doll and the tails were washed. xD But at least I tested how the fins take it - and I can say that they take it very well.

I need to find a better reservoir someday and repeat the outdoor mermaid session.

Sezon altanowy | Gazebo season

A jakże. Lalkowy sezon altanowy uważam za otwarty. 

Wyciągnęłam dziś ogrodową dioramę, którą zrobiłam w zeszłym roku. I złapałam nawet trochę słońca. Choć wieje znów mocno, wcale nie jest tak ciepło, jak mogłyby to sugerować zdjęcia. Z którymi się nagimnastykowałam nawiasem mówiąc, bo zasłony fruwały na wszystkie strony.

Yes. I consider the doll gazebo season to be open.

Today I pulled out a garden diorama that I made last year. And I even caught some sun. Although it's blowing strongly again, it's not as warm as the photos might suggest. With whom I exercised, by the way, because the curtains flew in all directions.

Obie panny Looks - Morgana (Barbie Looks #11) i Astrid (Barbie Looks #16) - rozsiadły się na poduchach i można im tylko pozazdrościć. Zobaczcie, co mają na stole. ;)

Both Looks ladies - Morgana (Barbie Looks #11) and Astrid (Barbie Looks #16) - are sitting on cushions and you can only envy them. Look what they have on the table. ;)

Ramen i sushi w skali 1/6 to znów cuda od Aleksandry z Miniatury dla Lalek Oli (Facebook albo Instagram). Sama jestem ogromną fanką kuchni Azjatyckiej (i to prawie każdej - japońskiej, chińskiej, koreańskiej, tajskiej...), a sushi i ramen zdecydowanie znajdują się w czołówce moich ulubionych potraw. Nie mogło ich więc zabraknąć także w lalkowej wersji. ;)

Ramen and sushi in 1/6 scale are little wonders from Aleksandra from Miniatury dla Lalek Oli (Facebook or Instagram). I'm a huge fan of Asian cuisine myself (and almost any - Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Thai...), and sushi and ramen are definitely at the forefront of my favorite dishes. So they could not be missing also in the doll version. ;)

Mówię Wam, co zerknę na te miski, to mam ochotę zjeść ramen. xD

I'm telling you, every time I look at these bowls, I want to eat ramen. xD

Oprócz tacy, gdzie wszystko jest umocowane na stałe, mam też kilka kawałków sushi osobno. Można to super wykorzystać do zdjęć.

Pałeczki zrobiłam z wykałaczek.

In addition to the tray where everything is fixed permanently, I also have several pieces of sushi separately. This can be great for photos.

I made chopsticks from toothpicks.

Astrid jest niesamowicie fotogeniczna. Zdecydowanie dołączy do grona najczęściej pojawiających się lalek na blogu. xD Nawiasem mówiąc już szykuję następną sesję z jej udziałem.

Astrid is incredibly photogenic. She will definitely join the group of the most frequently appearing dolls on the blog. xD By the way, I'm already preparing the next session with her participation.

Jakby to śmiesznie nie zabrzmiało - zazdroszczę czasem moim lalkom. xD 

U mnie znów pracowity weekend się szykuje. Ale może uda się choć chwilę powygrzewać się na słońcu. I Wam tego życzę!

As funny as it sounds, I sometimes envy my dolls. xD

It's a busy weekend for me again. But maybe there will be a moment to bask in the sun for a while. And I wish you that too!

Wiedźma, kruk i czosnek | Witch, raven and garlic

 

Nowy, ale nie do końca, strój dla małych wiedźm. Nie do końca, bo podobną suknię uszyłam kiedyś dla Evangeliny. Nowy - bo pierwszy raz w tej skali, w dodatku tutaj składa się ze spódnicy i tuniki. Tak lepiej układa się w tym nieco mniejszym rozmiarze.

A modelka nie nowa, lecz moja ulubiona Margaret (Mattel, Bellatrix Lestrange). I kruk. Też nie pierwszy raz, pozował już z Aurelią (Top Model Resort Summer).

A new, but not quite, outfit for little witches. Not exactly, because I once sewed a similar dress for Evangelina. New - because it's the first time in this scale, in addition here it consists of a skirt and a tunic. It fits better in this slightly smaller size.

And the model is not new, but my favorite Margaret (Mattel, Bellatrix Lestrange). And a raven. It's not the first time either, he's already posed with Aurelia (Top Model Resort Summer).

Światło, cień, "bladoskóra" lalka i czarna kieca to prawdziwe wyzwanie dla obiektywu. xD

Light, shadow, a "pale-skinned" doll and a black dress are a real challenge for the lens. xD

W swoim koszyku Margaret ma skarby. Do jej przyszłego Domu Zielarki oczywiście. Papryki i warkocz czosnku to dzieło Aleksandry z Miniatury dla Lalek Oli (zajrzyjcie na jej Facebooka albo Instagram). Czosnek zrobiła na moje zamówienie, za co jestem bardzo wdzięczna. :) Powiem Wam tylko, że to nie jedyne miniaturowe cudeńka, które od niej mam, ale muszę zrobić jakąś porządną sesję, żeby je odpowiednio zaprezentować. 

Margaret has treasures in her basket. To her future Herbalist's House, of course. Peppers and a braid of garlic are the work of Aleksandra from Ola's Miniatures for Dolls (see her Facebook or Instagram). She made garlic to my order, for which I'm very grateful. :) Let me just tell you that these are not the only miniature wonders I have from her, but I need to do some decent photoshoot to present them properly.

Wiedźmi strój uszyłam z kreszowanego batystu. Spódnica ma u dołu szeroką falbanę o wystrzępionych brzegach. Mniejsze falbany są również przy rękawach tuniki i na jej dolnym brzegu.

I sewed the witch's costume from crinkled cotton batiste. The skirt has a wide frill at the bottom with frayed edges. There are also smaller frills at the sleeves of the tunic and on its bottom.

I na koniec wiedźma w tymianku, który właśnie zaczyna kwitnąć.
